Jordan lugg of mullion is the best young keeper around! I have to agree on this one, watched him a few weeks back and is a real talent, there's your GK for the side who else for the other positions...????? Mostly made up from Illogan, wendron, st day and ludgvan I presume??? Neil curnow is a must also i might add, what's happened to the good players at the likes of goonhavern?? Watched them last season and a few of them could play much higher, not inc gosling by the way, other teams down the bottom do have a few gems but I haven't seen much of them, Saunders from fal ath? Is it petertron from port? Hayles young striker and winger? Troon had 2/3 Gadison? Smeeth was on fire? Player manager also Jody Marles? Holmans had some good players it was a shame they went down, and the loss of pendeen also lost a few individuals.

BAGMAN
I would back Kyle to play at a much higher level than he is now - learning his trade in the Combo will do him no harm! Jamo
A few good young keepers about, Ryan bull could be included at aggie, also our own keeper at Illogan, young Shaun carter, already had a full season in swpl with Hayle before it went pear shaped and since stepping into our combo team has been outstanding for us

riggins74
Quite right Steve, Shaun left Hayle due to work commitments not because it went "pear shaped" he deserves better credit than that. As Jamo mentioned he is a very good keeper and will continue to blossom with the correct coaching. Also a top fella.

Jamo
I just meant I knew he was playing before the unfortunate end of the swpl club, not any reason for him leaving at all, lol Babo think Shaun wasn't to keen on the fishing?! WendronOfficial
Is that in order? Much to Jenks' delight I'm going to throw Ryan Tressider into the mix. Massive player for us over last few seasons. Striker now playing at LB and technically one of the most gifted players around. Most of the players mentioned have been attacking players, bar one or two. Best defenders, full backs or cb?

Ryan Tresidder - Wendron (21) Jack Prowse - Porthleven (20) Dan Jenkin - Mullion (21) Ross Wara - Mullion (20) And Danny Brookwell at Culdrose, best player in the league for me. Phil_Ellis
Shame no perranwell players this season (partly due to the interesting techniques of the manager) one name that would stand out mind is that Liam Brabyn? I think his name is. plays centre mid great technique even if he is a little greedy! Having watched them a few times this season he or the blonde centre back Ben something seem to be the stand out players.
winston
There are plenty of players, other than the usual suspects, that would do the league proud, if chosen to represent the league. I think that possibly selecting 1 player from each club, would make for a true representation of the league, rather than picking mates, or family in the case of St Just. Each player could wear their own club socks for the game, similar to the barbarians rugby team. I know that picking 1 from each club, may give a large squad, but I'm sure in previous years, the squad has been large and rolling subs could be sanctioned. People I have been impressed with this season are: gerrens James (ludgvan) , Ross Duncan (st Ives), Dan Richards & Sam waters (illogan) Ryan reeve (penryn), kirk Davies (wendron), dean Keaton, dan macerny, rob hoskin (Redruth) and a couple of youngsters at Newquay, Troon and porthleven, but I don't know the names, I am sure they will be household names soon

But people don't actually realise what happens when these games take place. You could choose 11 midfielders or forwards and argue that each one deserves the call-up, but you can't play them all at the same time, so you can't select them all. Steve and Martyn choose a team that in their opinion is a good team with one of the best players for each position in that side. That in itself is not easy, but what makes it harder is when the day before, or even on the day of the match, people pull out, or they just don't turn up, and phones are suddenly out of battery or somebody's budgie needs taking to the vet etc etc. They are then left with maybe 7 or 8 players out of the initial 15 or so that they select, and that is not an exaggeration. In order to fulfil the fixture and not let the league and the rest of us down, loyal players, such as those at St Just, are drafted in at the last minute and help Steve and Martin out. Even though they weren't selected in the first instance, they take no offence and go out there and play, even if in people's opinions they aren't good enough, or are just family! I'm sure we could all choose a great side to put out onto the field, but I guarantee you that they wouldn't all turn up!
