Dagerags
With this constant week of rain, what's the chances of clijah having any football this Saturday.
Jamo
By the look of the forecast don't think many games will be on anywhere on sat

Guest BenTheYeti
The Council are well known for calling off games rather early in the week.. late Wednesday or Thursday has been known
Sponge
Yeah highly unlikely. Relates to another post about council pitches...
Deadcert
You are on the bottom rung of senior football none of the pitches are Wembley.the standard has dropped to junior football with the exception of a few. Well done to redruth for taking the step up and more teams should try this and the rest of you except them nstead of slagging of their pitches aftersall redruth has taken quite a few points off your stagnant combo teams

Guest BenTheYeti
I believe Mr Dagerags is enquiring, simply due to the fact he'd like to watch St Ives Reserves vs Halsetown this Saturday.. if that game is indeed on...

Bruegel the Elder
That's one we all would like to watch, or at very least get a halfway coherent match report from......eventually!
Guest BenTheYeti
With the weather the way it is, it might be one of few games actually on this Saturday.. I usually ramble more with a few ciders on board.. It could be done on Saturday night!
isaac rosenberg
Does St Ives Reserves v Halsetown usually have a police presence ?Don't know why they bother. People eating each other has been an accepted part of Penwith life for as long as I can remember; in these hard times it saves on Xmas dinner expenditure and I've no objection as long as they fill in the teamsheet honestly, use the proper knife and fork and avoid those vulgar paper napkins. It's also traditional that the winning team, get to parade the losing team's heads on sticks around the town

peggy78
Over the last couple of seasons clijah have called off very few games for the weather, leaving it on the hands of the referee for the day
