Charity Game .

Hello all.

just letting people out there know there is a charity football game this sunday the 16th at Penryn football club 11am kick off between the loosely named ' Falmouths Finest ' vs Dartmoor Prison Wardens .

This is an annual game ( 9th game this year ) played in memory of my great friend and popular local Falmouth lad Wayne Mcdonnell who sadly died of a heart defect some 8 years ago at the age of 29. Im sure some of you out there will have played with or against his brother Sean Mcdonnell who played in goal for numerous Senior and junior sides such as Milbrook, Falmouth town , Porthleven and Falmouth Athletic to name a few, Sean will be donning the gloves once more .

We play each year to raise money for the cardio myopathy association to raise funds for research into heart disease and have raised over £9,000 in 8 years .

if any of you local lads are in the area pop in with the family and watch a footballing extravaganza at just £1.00 per entry including match programme, there will be a bouncy castle for the kids and raffles and bingo after the game and the beers will be flowing !!!!
