WendronOfficial
Great result for the Dron, well done lads. Much the better side in my opinion. St Day played a lot of the match with 12 players... Matt Harris was playing in midfield he was that far on the pitch. Great 3 points, well done lads. All the best to St Day. Smithy
Goonhavern won 1-0, a real snatch and grab by the home side with port smacking the bar twice and the post and numerous shots working the keeper. But conditions were the worse I have ever played in and a real game changing moment when a goonhavern player seemed to have gone over the ball and catch Scott toy high up the shin was given his marching orders. Port controlled the game and scored a perfect goal but still feeling that the red card was unfair the home assistant referee did what he was good at and put up the flag to have it scratched off. 2mins later a long ball wasn't dealt with by port and the home side scored with their first effort on target

Foot Loose 1
Goonhavern 1 Porthleven 0 Goal by Marc Wilson Att 29 An even game with neither side looking like they would score, and when our forward was sent off for a week tackle it spurred our ten players, and took advantage of a defensive mistake to slot the ball past the Porthleven goal keeper. stevieb
have been trying to get on tonight but keep getting a gator appearing , well we won the toss decided to play against the wind and defended really well with a depleted squad with five players missing due to flu and other commitments ,so we drafted in young reese from the reserves who did not look out of place 12 man squad with jammo as the non playing sub , Scott likes a moan Haliday made two cracking saves in the 1st half and thought he had kept a clean sheet until approx the 44 mins he conceded at the back post 1-0 ST Agnes . Aggie very strong physical side and tried to out muscle the younger smaller Hayle lads but i thought they came of age today and stood up to the challenge we got 2-1 ahead due to a brace from Matt Thomas , in my own opinion thought we were the better footballing team but Aggie never gave up and scored an equaliser with only minutes left on the watch , as a side we lacked concentration late on and this cost us three points reff did ok today in the conditions and the light was failng in the second half , but another point better team performance than last week and in spells we moved the ball very quickly on the floor and the football was much better to watch a small crowd today about 20 ,but no wonder with the weather conditions the lads are doing ok and with a little more luck and more concentration hopefully they can carry on giving the combo sides a tough game , Keiron at centre half another great game and he seems to go from strength to strength this season ,

Smithy
When a perfectly good goal is scored and gets chalked off because the home "assistant referee" would have been better placed on culdrose runway the way he was flagging away then yea it's pretty hard to swallow as when a team is down to 10 and a goal down and bottom of the league the game would be over but fortunately for goonhavern our yes our mistake postman pat my flower gifted them the 3points in a game on another day would have seen us win 3 or 4 nil

Glenners
Im assuming smithy is the fela who spent the entire game 5 yards offside, basically it was a bag of shite game of football, in terrible conditions that no one team had any sustained period of domination or deserved to win, but a shocking decision by the ref to make the home team down to 10 men spurred them on to claim the 3 points. Martin Eddy
I like every other official must bow to one as perfect as you and strive to never make a mistake and perform perfectly as you do every week. maybe the next time you are injured you could try running the line yourself. by the way did your club supply a qualified assistant yesterday!! RAPPO
Good result Stevie, always a tough game v Aggie, Kimmo knows his stuff!! Great to see Matty playing senior football again, said it all last season, far too good a player to be playing junior football, would score goals at any level. Well done mate. :-)
isaac rosenberg
Good point for the Tinners at the Saltings today after beating St Ives 2-0 at St Just earlier in the season......looks like Illogan are the team to beat now St Day are fading and having to take two trips to Lafrowda.....have all those free kitchens been fitted yet ? Great to see Matty playing senior football again, said it all last season, far too good a player to be playing junior football, would score goals at any level. Well done mate. :-) great to have matty back and also liam mooney from junior football as well ,and a good run out for young ben after his injury a good young talent who can learn from matty , we are missing a leader on the pitch at present as jammo recovers from injury but the youngsters are getting stronger and used to some of the senior combo players ways a long way to go but hopefully with the reserves going well and the 3rds holding their own the future looks brighter for Hayle than it did preseason with all the movement of players , now there is a core of young local players throughout the club who wants to stay and play for Hayle and great for the club to have Colin Quinn back as well just like old days , the crowds have picked up as well and as all games are not to far to travel more supporters are following the away games the reserves are going great as well with John having a very loyal team and players ready to step up when required
