At least st just have loyal players who are there through thick and thin, you watch the st day players all up and go once they don't gain promotion..!

On anther note its tight at the bottom, any news on how many will go down this season?? Strange how this vital information isn't as straight forward as it should be and normally isn't even clear until very very late on, you should now know if 1 or 2 go down or only 1 will come up etc

Thing is pointers Redruth have gone up and held there own so why shouldn't they be there . Also perranwell have played on a coucil pitch for years and I think st days pitch is still owned by the council so shall we drop those teams down as well . If threemilestone earn promotion and pass the ground grading best of luck to them and anyone else

Gentlemen you are missing my point, I'm not knocking Redruth as a team, just purely their facilities or lack of them which as a whole degrades the standard of senior football in Cornwall, through no fault of the players I might add but the Combo committee for allowing teams with these facilities into the league in the first place, the same goes for fal ath's pitch, hardly Sunday league standard!!! Probably the best changing rooms granted but you don't play the game in there!

I'd rather the combination had 20 competitive sides than 20 nice looking grounds. This goes for South Western football too. Get rid of this whole 'applying' to go up. Win the league, you're promoted. Finish bottom, you're relegated. I wonder if QPR decide to stay in the championship for another season after potentially winning promotion this year...

That would make a complete mockery of the way the steps are labelled, you need to set a good set of rules and this should include the facilities needed to be in certain leagues not only for the benefit of the players but also spectators and fans alike! The tier of senior football should have grounds with suitable parking, changing rooms for officials and players, a clubhouse and somewhere to serve hot drinks etc, I'm not talking about wembley here, but there needs to be a divide between junior or senior, which is currently missing, and please don't reply 'well half the trelawny prem sides are better than combo' etc etc, so lets get rid of the junior and senior status's, that isn't possible and it's there for reasons which the FA have fully thought through....get rid of these council pitches and ones with no clubhouses etc and get the standard back to where is used to be!!!
