Borough one up at half-time despite Edgcumbe having the majority of the play.

The Edgcumbe pressure continued in the second half and they ran in three unanswered goals.

Borough rallied in the last twenty minutes but could not breach the stout Edgcumbe defence.

Credit to Edgcumbe as they always approach the game in the correct manner and play good football.

The standard may have dropped a little in recent years, but you can't argue that in both leagues surprise results keep popping out every week.

A really competitive couple of leagues, great to watch and follow.

Fair write up Andy, I just want to add an excellent performance from the referee as well. Not been officiated by him before but he had a flawless game and explained all decisions calmly and respectfully gaining the respect from both teams meaning a great game came out of it.
