Mike Odgers
Can you see the Islands of Scilly from the ground.A topic on the Tony Kempster website was "What grounds can you view the sea"When I added St.Just and could see the Isles in the distance, it was questioned.Am I correct in saying that? Mauler
Yes I think you can, although best to keep your eyes on the St Just players at all times!
Mauler
Yep certain now. I can recall Dave N'jie looking towards the bottom touchline shouting to me many a time, "Look at that, Scilly................................!" as his voice would get carried away in the wind. Guest BenTheYeti
Obviously not Combo and not exactly a football ground, but our pitch at Alexandra Road in St Ives gives one of the best views of St Ives Bay and up past Newquay

Mauler
Ha ha. St Breward away. Pre season friendly in july. Will never forgive Vidal for that one Millsy !!! :-) Kev Baking hot day. Leonard driving the bus, heavy traffic on the a30, Njie suggest Leonard hangs a left just before Fraddon, an hour later after visitng parts of Cornwall I had never seen or have seen since we get to a tricky T junction by Trelawney Garden Centre. Len says to Bash (le boss) whats it like you side, Bash replies 'hang on I think one has just pulled out of Bodmin'' hysterical at the time, although not for the driver!. Get on the Atlantic highway, turn right, get to St Tudy, go round the church several times before we choose the correct exit. Get to St Breward 3.20 all dehydrated and knackered. . Lose and get done over by the Greenaways! Me and N'j beat you and Leonard at euchre in the clubhouse.(again!) Tony Strike drives the bus home. That one? isaac rosenberg
Up St Just, when you can see the Scillies, you know it's going to rain. If you can't see the Scillies, it's raining already.
