Perhaps Jennings is a replacement for Rob Wearne who appears to be moving back to Falmouth Town, according to reports in the Falmouth Packet today. I, along with the others who travelled to Bovey Tracey on Saturday, were amazed that he was on the bench. Wearne is Newquays top goalscorer this season, when he came on with 15mins remaining, we started to create serious chances.

The fact is that clubs have now found a way around the rule that prevented them from signing more than 1 player from the same club within a month period.

I seem to remember this happened last season with Newquay so the powers that be have had ample opportunity to set out new measures to prevent this from happening this season but they have chosen to ignore it, therefore the "loophole" still exists and clubs are still free to exploit it.

I think this is complacency on the part of the the powers that be and they need to pull their finger out and decide what they are going to do about it. If they think the rule is an important/worthwhile rule then they should do something about it to close the loophole for future seasons. If they aren't bothered about closing the loophole then just get rid of the rule altogether.

In my opinion if a player signs for a club he should be tied to that club for a minimum of 45 days (6 weeks).
