CornishCanary
For all those at the match; "Decisions of the referee The decisions of the referee regarding facts connected with play, including whether or not a goal is scored and the result of the match, are final. The referee may only change a decision on realising that it is incorrect or, at his discretion, on the advice of an assistant referee or the fourth offi cial, provided that he has not restarted play or terminated the match." straight from the rules... Can complain really, its there in black and white

CornishCanary
Slight controversy at the match yesterday, with a TCFCR goal being disallowed, great debate whether the referee could do what he did, and he can...

CornishCanary
Bear in mind I was far from the incident, did not hear what the refferee said etc etc 85th minute, TCFCR Adam Williams scored. Referee signalled a goal. The DFC keeper and DFC defender were in a heap, Keeper seemingly badly injured. Some confusion prevailed. Referee went to his linesman, came back and awarded free kick to DFC. Much debate/ anger on whether the Ref could do this.. according to the rules "the referee may only change a decision on realising that it is incorrect or, at his discretion" Incidentally 86th min TCFCR scored. This incident highlights the need for everyone connected to the game to know the rules intimatly before critising the officials and getting heated.
