Guest BenTheYeti
Which sort of fines.. sending offs and bookings, or playing for a team whilst ineligible?
cornish soccer fan
what a stupid question! yet again, someone trying to bait the forum! ALL fines should be paid by players, how can you instill respect etc at a club if players run rufshot & no consequences for booking etc.
Farley
It depends. 95% of fines should be paid by player as it's their stupidity that has got them booked/sent off. If however it's a 'one for team' card such as a last man sending off or say a Suarez style save on the line that wins you a game, then if all the club members agree, the club should pay. Also if it's a mistaken identity or very harsh, then the club could pay too.

willser08
As a player regularly booked over the years I always pay my own fines, even when Simon Barrand is the 1 who caused me to get booked I think under no circumstances should a club have to pay the fines and also the ccfa should chase players for it direct rather than make the club pay it and chase the player. west1
what I mean is the ccfa should get money from players for bookings and red cards not clubs

Martin Eddy
how could you police this.as far as the county fa is concerned it is easier for them to collect the money off the club and make the club responsible. the only way you could make it work would be if the player could not play until the fine has been paid but!!! how could the club police that without incurring a fine- by playing a player who say's he has paid the fine but has not. unless they cannot play until the club has confirmation from the county by either letter or email? confusing or what

Marazion2013
The club gets 2 weeks to pay the fine and if not on time is doubled and player put on a sine die ban until paid. Send the fine to the player and same rule applies. How many players end up owing their club fine money and don't pay it then move on to another club owing said money. What were they fined, and now banned for? I hope it works and gets noticed by other miscreants!
