Duchy Premier Fixtures

To keep all the Duchy Premier teams in the loop........

The Duchy Premier division was severely affected at the start of the season by clubs withdrawing leaving it with just 10 teams.

I have been working on the fixtures to try and keep it interesting and stretch the season as long as I can. The majority of the league fixtures will finish on Sat 29th March. (Torpoint vs St Columb Major will be the last league game on April 5th).

There will be a 2 week break for the Premier teams over Xmas (28th and 4th Jan, although some teams will be playing Junior Cup on Jan 4th) and four 1 week breaks (although 5 fixtures have been added into these). These vacant weeks (Jan 18th, Feb 1st, Feb 22nd and March 15th) will be used to play any games that have been rained off and the later stages of the Duchy Knockout Cup. They also coincide with Junior Cup weekends so those teams still involved don't fall behind.

The last week of the season's fixtures has been set up to include a possible title shootout with Pensilva hosting Saltash. Torpoint also host Newlyn East that day if they are both also in the hunt to keep it interesting.

All the fixtures are currently on the Duchy full-time site and will be added to the Duchy site later today.

Hopefully the other 5 divisions will be completed in the nest week or so.
