A brace from substitute Tom Williams (a reserve team player who made his first team debut tonight) gave Witheridge a 3-2 win against Ivybridge Town in the second round of the Devon FA St Lukes Challenge Cup and earned the team a home 1/4 final tie against Torquay Utd. The first half ended 1-1 before the visitors took a 2-1 lead however the night belonged to super sub Williams who scored twice late on to send Witheridge into the quarter finals.
