FHFL 2

Carharrack 3 Constantine 1

Carharrack AFC gained maximum points in a physical FHFL 2 match against Constantine. Both sides battled during the first half and it was Carharrack's winger Dean Liwanb who gained the lead by putting the ball past the line just before the interval. It did not take long for the Constantine strikeforce to equalise after coming back after the break when they cleverly out-manoeuvred a offside trap to race past Carharrack's back four. The goalkeepers time and time again kept their sides in the game by pulling off some fantastic saves however it was Carharrack's hitman Liam Bray who added another notch to his tally by defeating the Constantine defence in the 74th minute with a well place shot just inside the area. This sign of bouncebackability proved vital for Carharrack, who finally put to game to rest when left back Craig Mole headed the ball straight into the back of the Constantine net. A good game played in good spirit, this division is certainly going to be well contested throughout the season by all those involved.

porthleven 3 lanner 2, cup game, porthleven 3-1 up at halftime, lanner lost player through injury after twenty mins in the second half, all subs were used at half time, came back to score, hit post and good keeping by ports keeper kept us out, will be a good tussle between the two clubs.

Culdrose 4 - 3 Frogpool

Culdrose in total control and then for the 3rd match running hit cruise control far too early. Luckily held on after being 4-1 up to wn 4-3 however may need to change management halfway through season due to triple heart bypass due to self inflicted (by players) pressure :lol:

mawgan 7-1 hayle

hayle gave a spirited perfomance but were out played by mawgan but hayle didnt give up and their keeper gave a man of the match performance to keep the score below double figures. Mawgan created chance after chance and really have to start putting the ball away or it will end up costing them in the bigger games.
