hoppit
Launceston dominated this game from start to finish and could have won by more. Reg has a real problem in that he never seems able to field the same side two games in a row, players always seem to be unavailable for one reason or another and when it is key players with such a small squad the team becomes seriously weakened. I know that every club has players unavailable from time to time but for the Camels it seems to be every match often for the most mundane of reasons. Going back to the game last night the Camels midfield kept giving the ball away which meant the defence was under constant pressure, and when playing the good sides like Launceston the outcome is inevitable they score. I think the players need to step up to the mark and turn up for training and put the wrongs right, or it could be a long season.
Lafs
I hate to say this to you but EVERY manager has to deal with this at some point. I know budgets and resources vary but it's all relative at the end of the day and I'm sure Reg isn't alone with this sort of problem.

Totally agree Lafs all I'm saying is it seems to happen every week not just 1 or 2 players but 4 or 5 and against Bovey a few weeks ago it was 7. Maybe the commitment isn't there anymore, in my day Football always came first, if I arranged to go out with er indoors on a free Saturday only for the manager to ring and say he had rearranged a game to me that's a no brainer. go play football. best
Going then hoppit who was out last night? I'm a big fan of Camelford and reg, good club and good manager, but every time you lose its always because we had 3 out, or 5 out etc.. But is the real reason teams now know how you play, formation you use etc? Look forward to your reply
Lafs
I know Reg knows his squad inside and out by now but perhaps things have become a little stale now they are a permanent fixture in the Prem league and have lost the advantage that the element of surprise to their game. It happens sometimes and talking to a representative from another Prem club at Bodmin last night, they're not alone in needing a shake up within their squad. We found this out after just a few months of the season at Newquay last year, the problem then is whether you can bring in the right players and characters and how quick you can integrate them into your squad. The loss of Gusterson is always going to hurt a club such as Camelford but perhaps some of the remaining players commitment is just beginning to waiver for the Camels. Look forward to your reply Players missing last night were Adam Sleep Martin Haynes {both central defenders} Josh Insley and Dave Youlden all key players. I don't lie if I say they are out it's the truth. Why do you imply i'm lying? Having said that Camels also had 4 out at Ivybridge and won. Just happens a lot, show me were I say we have players out every time we lose that's just a lie, if I say there are players out their are players out, don't have to justify a thing. green&whitebarmyarmy
we played badly last night. there was little rythm to are play and we gave the ball away too many times in the wrong areas. we lacked a physical prescence up front to hold the ball as the ball seemed to come back too easily. this year hasn't been easy but after what was a good performance against bodmin we took a couple of backward steps last night. hoppit you are right about us missing players, the lack of rhtym could be down to differing personel but we know we have to work harder
