Richard Rundle
Fulham went on to play Newquay a couple of days later. I believe (although a few of the details may be sketchy) that the mini-tour was originally organised by Mansfield Town, then when Andy King was sacked as manager the new boss cancelled it, King rang around other clubs to see if any would be able to fulfill the obligations and not to let Illogan & Newquay down and Fulham agreed (I think Mickey Adams was the Fulham boss at the time)

Would have been great to know how many were there that night it was certainly a big crowd .
Mike Odgers
Also prominent in the pre match build up was their Coach Alan Cork -the record breaking appearances/goals from the Wimbledon "Crazy Gang"
