L.Ricks9
St Dennis 1-1 Penryn Saints Goal - Scott hill Penryn goal - Ryan (let's go fishing) chinn Even game really, st Dennis should have gone in at the break 3 or 4 up, but ht was 1-0 to home side. Penryn got there goal in the 50th min with some terrible defending from a corner from us, evenly matched after that with 1-1 being a fair result. best
Bovey very unlucky today, I thought the 1st half they were the better team, 2nd half Shepton had more of the possession. Bovey lacked intelligence in the final 3rd, to predictable at times. Enjoyed the game tho
The Villains
Poor result for Ivybridge, only good thing was that most of the other teams around them also dropped points.
Blues10
Top display by ref Kevin knowles yesterday for the Helston v Vospers game. They take a battering on here most of the time so thought only fair to mention how good a performance one of them had this weekend :)

New boy
Blues 10 .... Shame about the Vospers team performance looking at the result!!!! Good to see someone writing something positive about refs! Without them games wouldn't go ahead! Simple!
Blues10
Vospers have got a few very good players, think it's a case of giving them time to gel as a team, as I think there's been a lot of change there since the end of last season. And Helston put in a solid performance, only down side was conceding 2. It's a tough job being the man in the middle that's for sure! And like I said, they take a lot of grief, so credit where credit's due :)
New boy
That's very true Blues 10, it is a tough job. The refs have a hard job and sometimes the grief I hear players giving them and what I read at grass root, amateur, semi pro and pro is ridiculous! If we took the rugby rules and every time a player argues the ref walks 10 yards forward the players would soon keep their opinions to their selves! Nice to hear your views on a new look Vospers! Players to watch out for? On a different note, Helston for the title?
Blues10
Yeh that would soon put a stop to things. Don't think red cards would work because matches wouldn't be finished with the amount of cards being dished out for dissent haha. I'm not sure on names, but the captain, number 11, 7 and the strong striker all looked handy. Helston went through a bad spell at the start of the season but things seem to be turning a corner, the league is so unpredictable this year, so I don't want to say anything! CharlesYoung
Kevin being tackled by one of our boys was the highlight. Just sat on the floor, shrugged his shoulders and smiled to the Helston Bench. Good luck to Vospers for the rest of the season

This new Vospers is basically the same Parkway team that won the ECPL Premier title last season, I cant remember all the players but the right winger is Dan Worth and the strong striker must be Andy Harris. When we at Sticker played Vospers they seemed to panic after going a goal down and got worse as the game went on. But I still rate them as a good team! Incidently our ref this Saturday against Truro was Shaun Edge and he didn't have a bad game either and only one booking! Shame we didn't turn up though!! Blues10
Yeh it's mark! Ahh I see, well in that case maybe it's taking them time to adapt to the peninsula, they've got a good spine to the team with the stand out players that I noticed from Saturday. We went 2-0 up early on, then just completely lost concentration, and credit to vospers they pegged it back to 2-2, we managed to step our game up tho and comfortably win. That's good to hear about another good referees performance, unlucky on the result for you boys tho! See you soon

I thought that as well re spine. and adapting to SWPL. They used to give us a right old battle in the ECPL. Good bunch of lads though! Tough on the pitch but real friendly and good sports after the game win or lose!! I look forward to seeing you guys in December in the meantime good luck against the Green and Blacks in the cup. GetInTheGame
Heard your back heel to set up a vospers goal was up for the showboat reel charles I think his two goals and overall performance may have made up for that Uni
