FLOODLIGHTS

I have just visited the excellent website for the new league and it was interesting to note that out of 18 teams in the Premier Division only 11 have floodlights and those that have are mostly Cornish clubs.

Is there any ruling that will force these clubs, if they remain in the top league, to have lights by a certain date or is it left open that hopefully they will have lights eventually. Obviously none of the teams without lights cannot enter the FA Cup or FA Vase competitions.

Think you'll find the criteria for the new league stated that all improvement required to meet step 6 standards had to be complete within 3 years.

What this new league will do is improve facilities across both counties.

We've completed lots of work over the summer, including the building of a new stand. We now have access to funding that should see lights erected, something that may not have happened had we not made the top league.

Where have you built your new stand Torpoint Imp? Standing or seating????

In adidition, planning permission has to be proved by the club and there must be the finances available in writing, by accounts or gaurantees. I understand the time limit is by the commencment of the season 2009. This is my understanding.
