Mike Odgers
Following a fine win at Elmore, Falmouth will be looking to build on with a first Home win of the season.Bodmin the visitors should include former Town goal aces Matt Drummond (90 goals) and Luke Hodge (60 goals)

TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
I watched this tonight, as I saw the corresponding fixture the season before, thought a little comparison was interesting. Well, well, what a difference, last season Bodmin were all powerful, sweeping Falmouth aside with ease, not so tonight. Falmouth shaded this game, and should have had a one nil win, and deserved so. They hassled Bodmin into countless errors, not allowing them to settle at all, played on occasion some pretty decent passes, an obvious sign of coaching with their movement of the ball. Fitness levels looked pretty good, a few faded, but only at the very end, and after a huge amount of work. A lucky deflection saw Bodmin undeservedly equalise late in the game, this lifted Bodmin, who then started to play a bit for the last 10/15 minutes, and got them a late, late winner. They should be arrested for daylight robbery, as that was what it was. Downside of the game, the moaning and whingeing at every little detail, from offside flags, to throw-ins, tackles, uncle tom cobley, and all and sundry, Bodmin being the worst at it, although a few from Falmouth were not much better, you all need to shut up and get on with it !!!! How the ref put up with it, I do not know. Go and play junior football, half you lot would be off. Memo to Mr Dent, your head don't half shine under floodlights - put a hat on you pain in the arse. Suzie Chow
The atmosphere is building and the general consensus was that Falmouth played some outstanding football. Credit to all the lads , managers and backroom staff who are bringing it all together and I hope the fans are now realising what strengths and positivity the infrastructure has to inject into the footballing side of things at our great club
leedsunited
Unfortunatly football is played over 90mins not 75mins! This was bodmins worse performance of the season without doubt, yet still managed to go up acouple of gears to get the points. In my book, when good sides play bad & still win shows exactly that...agoods side!!!

BIG AL
This is the best that Falmouth have played for nearly 10months. It was played at a fast pace with some good passing and the referee allowed the game to run smoothly and really only pulled it up for the most serious of fouls. I feel that this may well be the turning point for Town and I hope the performance will be repeated on Saturday and if it is, 3 points must be in the bag! BAGMAN
I went along to watch this game as a neutral and felt at the end, Falmouth were unlucky not to come away with a point. Undoubtedly the turning point of the game being when the officials failed to deal with Bodmins goalkeeper raising his hands (around the throat!!) of the Falmouth No9 - a straight red no doubt and especially so when both very obviously 'bottled' what was for me a straightforward decision - the young Lino saw the incident and didn't even call the ref over! You could have guessed what happened shortly after as another long clearance from the Bodmin goalie fell kindly to their centre forward who cooly finished to win the game for the Champions. A harsh ending to a game which showed that although Falmouth may be improving, they still lack that extra quality to close out a game. Bodmin appear to rely solely on a long hoof forward to their front 2 and pick up the bits from there - that said, they showed a Champions mentality and ground out a wn that they didn't quite deserve.
