Its been confirmed marazion are champions due to newqauy not being able to raise a side...shame to win it this way..but all top 4 sides have been given points along the way..also congradulations to rappo on finishing top goalscorer you deserve it

Well done to Marazion, it's good to see the battle for the title going right down to the wire.

A quick apology to Mabe as we (Ludgvan) haven't been able to raise a side today either & have had to cancel the game at Mabe. Due to the Bank Holiday weekend those of us who're working today haven't been able to get the time off to play. As I could only get 6 players unfortunatley we had to call it off.

I know it is the bank holiday and some players might be working but Newquay have a squad list of more players than any other team and couldn't get 11 from them. Newquay must be in poor state at the moment

congratulations to Marazion from all at Helston. Had 3 epic battles with you this season which I know all players from both sides enjoyed. Best side we played by far. Good to see the best two footballing sides finish one and two in the league..has been a fantastic end to div 5 with the top 4 all being in pole position at obe point in the last 6 weeks. Am sure all 4 will be at top end of div 4 next season. ..enjoy your beers !

congrats to Marazion ... been an interesting season division 5 this year ... apologies if offended any marazion players/coaches by saying didn't deserve it, was bit mythed by the actions of a few, but glad was able sort it .... look forward to another close battle again nxt season :)

Sorry Matty, been a hectic day with the champions league final and I splashed out £15 on the boxing, glad i did, great scrap!! Thanks for the congrats mate, said to Birchy was hoping you would play today and get a hat-trick so we could have shared it!! Your 55 goals were more important as they went a long way to you deservedly winning the league and not finishing in 6th like us!!! Glad the best footballing team won it in the end, been a great season with the other top 3 quality sides and to start off with a 9 point deduction and still be champions Is a great effort!! All the best Matty and enjoy the summer break bud.

Mark a true footballing legend and as passionate as ever who,s had some great times in football,Matt just as passionate but you should be achieving a lot more.Give it another go at pen level,and realise that potential down the middle not on the bloody wing.Speak to Rappo I,m sure he never played on the wing......there,s goalscorers and there,s footballers

When I was looking earlier in the week div 4 had home walkover for wendron v four lanes but see the game was actually played yesterday. Bit strange that it happened.

Hope you're well Perry, long time no see. If anyone could recognise a goalscorer it's you mate!! Yeh Matty's a great finisher, wasted out wide for sure! No offence to wingers mind!! But type of player you want on the ball and in the game, makes things happen. As you said bud, far too good for this level of football. What bout you mate? Coming back into football sometime or enjoying the rest? :-)

Haha don't think I could teach you anything Matty!! Except dont break your foot twice at 29 and the 14 months you're out stuff yourself with pasties and chocolate!! Went from 12 stone 8 to 16 stone and realised I couldn't run 100 metres in 10.7 anymore!!! :-(. Had to turn myself into a target man and practice my heading all summer!! Went from getting 10 goals a season with my head to about 30!!! Make the most of that electric pace and skill bud, it's hell of a shock when you knock it past a defender you've been skinning for years and he burns you off and gets a tackle in. :-( depressing! I'm sure that wont happen to you for a very long time yet mate!! :-)
