Congratulations to illogan got to see the game tonight and illogan deserved winners although wendron do have the smartest dressed manager in the league....managed to get a picture of the 2nd best manager of the 2nd best team in the league this season behind the self proclaimed best former Troon manager who's in charge of the village outside Redruth........picture says it all really :)

Perranwell 3-0 Goonhavern

We gifted Perranwell their opening goal after approximately 15 seconds. We came into the game more and more as the game wore on a missed a great chance to level moments before Perranwell scored their second with about 5 to go. Our 'keeper then passed to Perranwell's striker who duly scored their third to give them a somewhat flattering scoreline. The game lacked fluidity and the ref managed to book 6 players in a game where there was not a single bad challenge. We had only 5 of our regular squad playing tonight but the lads that came in did well. All the best to Perranwell.

On another note, congratulations to Illogan on winning the league, by far the best team I've played against this season.

Not all yellow cards are for bad tackles. There are 6 other catagories of cautionable affences so it is possible to have yellows in a game (and a red for a second yellow) without a bad challenge.

mrlaw18, absolutely correct, I managed to get along to see this match and my recollection of the cautions are two for unsporting conduct (shall we say over enthusiastic challenges ) the others were for dissent, the referee was correct in all the cautions and in fact had a very good game.

Goalscorers for st ives were Tristan lambert with 4, James Worrall with 3, Martyn's Harding, Ian hodges and Simon Stevens with one a peace. The attendance was approx 25 and have to say fal ath were obviously under strength but never gave up.

Congratulations to Illogan from all at st ives on winning the league.

Well referred by Ian Roberts.

Are you sure you were at the right game?... Got to agree with mama sidibe on this one, the referee was poor for both teams. But I can see why the CCFA rate him, he must be making them a fortune! Loves a card that ref.

so what you are saying is that because there was not a bad tackle at all in the game the ref should ignore all the other cautionable offences? The game lacked flow then its not the ref's fault. If there is a foul worthy of a free kick the ref can blow up or play advantage. If no advantage then play is brought back. He was just doing his job.
