Preview from Blaise Park: St Blazey v Bovey Tracey

Recommended Posts

WITH MOST CLUBS now on the brink of their season, the competition is still on for most clubs wanting to gain the extra league place and a chance at next season's FA Vase and Cup.

Bovey Tracey are two points away from that chance with their penultimate game at Blaise Park.

St Blazey have had to cope with their fixture pile up, playing 2 games in 3 days with a rest for just 1 day. Tiredness may well show after only resting for 2 days before tomorrow's game.

The Moorlanders themselves need to regroup and improve on the pitch. Defeat against Saltash United has seen Bovey Tracey's record mirror image how they did at the start of 2013. 1 defeat in 12 has now seen Bovey give away leads in their last 8 across March and April. The stats show having won only 1, drawing 4 and losing 3.

However, Manager Ryan German has had to bring in players under the age of 19 as cover for the squad players that have been unavailable for the last month and apart from Jared Lewington who is suspended for the last two games, Ryan Stanbridge and Dale O'Donaghue return on Saturday.
