cornishteddyboy Posted May 2, 2013 Report Share Posted May 2, 2013 Due to a shortage of referees this coming weekend, I have been told that for this Sunday's Supplementary Cup semi-final. each club, Wendron and St Agnes have to provide a qualified lines-person. If it was a normal league match and either side couldn't find one they would be fined £3. Let's say that due to the short notice, either or both Wendron or St Agnes are unable to provide a qualified person, should they be fined the £3? Guest Monty Posted May 2, 2013 Report Share Posted May 2, 2013 Thats the joys of holding semi finals or indeed finals on a sunday? referees do have families and Sundays seems to be the best day to have family day. Work committments etc etc mean that Sunday is not a good day to have football let alone Finals and semi finals and especially bank holiday weekends.
