Preview from Poltair Park: St Austell vs Bovey Tracey

Recommended Posts

BOVEY TRACEY travel to Poltair Park on Tuesday evening facing a St Austell side unbeaton at home in 2013. Similarly, Bovey Tracey have not lost away from home in 2013 giving both Managers tough selection decisions and an excellent game to plan for.

The fixture was pencilled in to be played 3 weeks ago had it not been for the poor weather which disrupted many games in all three Divisions of the CSWPL.

Bovey Manager Ryan German hopes to have a full squad travelling to Cornwall on Tuesday, including captain Dan Taylor who would of missed Saturday's postponed fixture against Falmouth Town due to being on holiday, but should have returned in time.

The excellent form of St Austell not only this year, but the season as a whole had been fantastic and currently sit in a very respectable position. Player/Manager Dan Nancarrow will certainly look to build on what seems a top four this season by aiming higher in 2013/14.

German will look for an improvement in his sides attacking display, compared to recent games. This comes after being disappointed with his strikeforce which had recently suffered a dip in form, but feels the St Austell game is a challenge for them to find the target and bring back their confidence.

Despite Bovey being in the bottom half of the table all season, their form under the new management has improved their results which has seen them go unbeaten against many of the sides currently and just outside the top six, so St Austell will be aware of the threat of The Moorlanders.

Kick off at Poltair Park 7:45pm.

St Austell from: (taken from line-up of last game) J Peters, D Leon, T Smith, K Conibear-Trathen, Bragg, C Reski, L Whetter, D Carne, D Bance, J Isbell, J Dingle, D Nancarrow, W Tinsley, M Body
