Bodmin 3 Roche 1

Physical game as was expected. Bodmin went ahead after 10-15 mins in an even first half. Roche went down to 10 men in the last minute of first half but came out and totally dominated 2nd half despite numerical disadvantage. Came back to 1 each but ran out of steam as the half wore on. Roche deserved something out of the game.

Be interesting to hear from a Bodmin point of view. Makes for a great end of season push!!!

Probus 1(Alex Pearce) Liskeard Athletic Reserves 1

A good point for us in an instantly forgettable game! The hard pitch didn't help either team - luckily neither of us really tried too hard to get the ball down and play!

The first half wasn't great and neither keeper had a huge amount to do. Dan Vincent had a lob that went over and Liskeard had a few decent crosses that came to nothing.

Liskeard had a good effort after 5 minutes of the second half that was well saved by Fabian Richards low to his left. They then took the lead after 55 minutes with a good half volley finish from 18 yards. Within 2 minutes we had equalised through an Alex Pearce free-kick from 20 yards.

In the last 20 minutes Liskeard had a few good chances to score through their number 14 (who scored their goal). He volleyed over from 12 yards and hit the post with a shot from inside the box.

Overall I think a draw was about fair, but both teams most certainly have and will play better.

I would like to give a special mention to the Liskeard 'old boys' who cleaned the changing rooms out at the end of the game - thanks to you all and for the Liskeard players and supporters for staying at the club at the end of the game.

Good luck to MQ and Liskeard for the rest if the season.

Fair result and accurate account mate! We turned up with no keeper today so huge thanks to our stand in keeper who hasnt played there before and wasnt at fault for the goal, and good luck to you boys for the rest of the season, am looking forward to finishing now!

Division 1 is looking interesting as we enter the business end of the season. Just looked at the table and only 8 points separate the top 8 in the league!

With both Roche and St Teath losing this weekend, and Kilk also losing in the week, it's anybody's league if they can string a few results together.

Morwenstow 4 v 1 st Dom

St Dom took a early lead after some bad marking and stayed like that till the 2nd half .

2nd half we morwenstow were alot better and this showed in the last 20 mins when we scored 4 goals to take a vital 3 points . A much improved performance and with 3 key players missing was good to see the youngsters filling in well
