Preview at Trefrew Park: Camelford v Bovey Tracey

Recommended Posts

IN FORM BOVEY TRACEY are on their travels this weekend as they visit Trefrew Park to face 6th place Camelford (3pm).

Bovey have shown a great turn around since facing sides in the top six positions in and aroud the table, and continued that great form after a 3-0 defeat of second place Plymouth Parkway almost denting any chance of Parkway securing the Premier Division title.

Manager Ryan German came away "buzzing" after defeating Parkway and seeing one the most outstanding performances since being Manager of Bovey and praised the assistance Micky Hunt has given since joining the club.

On Saturday though, German and Hunt do have a few casualties unavailable; striker Jamie Micklewright misses the game with a foot injury and Kieran Light faces a late fitness test. German will ensure the team he picks ahead of the kick-off will remain focused and positive in coming away with all 3 points which would help in their quest to catch the top 10 but knows the threat the Camels pose, especially at home.

Micky Hunt had been a visitor to Trefrew Park in recent seasons and knows of a few key areas Bovey will be tested and have to press early to take charge of the game. Although Camelford have won 2 in their last 6, they have already defeated Newquay, Saltash and Plymouth Parkway; Newquay the hosts of Bovey next Saturday. The Camels are currently in their second season in the Premier after winning the West Division title in 2010-11. That was after gaining promotion orginially from the East Cornwall Premier.

All staff, players and spectators are looking forward to visiting the great facilities that Camelford have and hope for the right result on the day.

Team news for Camelford still to wait for.
