Suzie Chow
Would just like to say how encouraged and delighted everyone was to see Rob Wearne back playing at Bickland Park today. Rob, who suffered a fractured skull earlier on in the season was not in the least bit doubtful of going up for headers. He played the full 90 and looked as if he hadn't been away. Welcome back Rob! A presentation of an engraved tankard was made to Ross Pope today in celebration and recognition of his 250th appearance for Falmouth Town. Neil Phillips made the presentation to Ross as it was Neil who signed Ross to the club initially. We are all immensely proud of his loyalty and dedication to the club. RobbieS
Popey put in his usual busy shift for his 250th appearance, and young Rob came through what must've been a tough psychological test with flying colours. Along with everybody else, they were unlucky to have come out of the game without at least a point. The effort put in by everyone was very pleasing, and surely it's only a matter of time before we start getting a few wins under our belts?
