Brianmooreshead
Is that a fact or is it just hearsay ? If that is true Nanpean should be ashamed of theirselves If you can't put a team of your own out without having to scrounge ( well they're not exactly ringers - but higher league players ) you might as well pack it in ! jayjay21
Morwenstow 3v 4 liskeard Less said about this game the better . We morwenstow were awful for the opening 60 mins liskeard went 4 up and played some nice football there keeper made a couple of good saves in 1st half . Last 30 we improved and brought it back to 4 3 was a interesting end with one of players sent off and rightly so but liskeard player should of gone to . Fair play to liskeard they got the 3 points . Bit sad to see them turn up with 11 players and no linesman 1st half one of our subs did it but 2nd half there was no one to do it as subs came on . Wasn't until mq came on that the lad who was subbed did the line not sure why mq didn't run it ???

Complete crap. We had Carl Rickard starting and Lee Rickard on the bench.. St Blazey had Muzz (Dave Rickard) Kyle Friendship and Martin Giles 90 mins.. We have been told that players are not supposed to run the line if they intend to play in the game so being the only sub available today I chose not to. B Manning
Martin, thats an ideal situation, but! if no one else is available then no problem with a sub running the line. but please remember it is a league rule that a trained club assistant is used and if a sub is used a fine could well be incurred.
Martin McHugh
I think the problems occur when, as a manager I have had to run the line, as a sub I have run the line and today as manager and sub I decided not too but even though the league have made statements about this situation, I think they realise that it is not ideal . unitedrhino2
Brianmorreshead, Nanpean should be ashamed of themselves, get your facts straight before gobbling off. Nanpean got a lot of youngsters that can't play every week and we have the services of Carl Rickard when St Dennis have no game, Lee Rickard needed a run out today and we gave it too him for the last 30 mins because we had a sub place available. What we do at Nanpean as nothing to do with you or anyother big mouth, who has got nothing better to do then slag off local clubs using local players. End of Rant As for the game good advert plenty of tackles, Rovers two goal were well worked, Blazey scored a couple of flukes, draw would have been a fair result, but the fact Blazey played 3 swpl players doesn't make a difference to us, they are signed on and intitled to play. Referee had a decent game, but not brilliant.

Naholliday
It seems that every week there is a rant on here about players from more senior teams playing for lower local clubs. I don't know why? It is the same as basically having a higher first team putting players in their reserve teams. I personally have been on the end of losing to teams with "first teamers" in...but those are the rules that are in place so why moan at them? Things have a habit of evening themselves out. If the connection is not a "first team and reserve team" such as st Dennis and nanpean... It doesn't matter! The league allows it. Fair play to nanpean for building a link with a higher local team that provides them with a bonus. A bit like a "parent club" in football manager! It is allowed to happen... I appreciate it can sometimes come across as being immoral or being used to advantages in the league etc... But it is allowed to happen! If clubs have an issue with it perhaps they need to build up some links with other clubs too.
Willser !
I don't see anything wrong with it as long as those "ringers" don't take the places of regulars. It's better to field a full team of 14 players rather than turn up with the bare 11 or even 9 or 10 players.
