skyblueref
Clijah pitches closed Inspected Redruth's pitch at Clijah late morning today [friday] for their promotion application, and it was perfectly playable. Didn't look at any others before anyone asks.

Darren Lewarne
Firstly, thank you skyblueref for your inspection. I had a phone call this afternoon from Cornwall Council to advise that the council had undertaken their inspection and that "all pitches" were unsuitable for playing. Very disappointing for both Redruth teams as well as our opponents ( sorry Babbo!). We both wanted to play. However, irrespective of our own personal, or club views, the position is clear on Clijah. As a council-owned ground, they are able to call a game off if the pitch is considered unplayable. Sorry all (well, more particularly Illogan Res and Mawnan Res)

Cury fc
Cury v mullion Lockhart cup off after weeks of hard work to get games played at cury the pitch has finally been deemed unplayable and I am sure anyone that played on the pitch over the last few weeks will agree it was only a matter of time. Unless the council get out and roll and cut the pitch it could be a while before its fit for football

Sorry all (well, more particularly Illogan Res and Mawnan Res) Was definitely an early call on their part, with the rain staying away and a drying wind since, but as you said, we have no say. Sorry to Falmouth Athletic Res as well. I'm sure there are very few clubs who want any more fixtures added to the backlog!
