Torpoint Athletic v AFC St Austell (Junior Cup Semi Final) Game has been called off by the MOD at 10:00, a lot of phone calls put in today to try to delay until the morning but they're having none of it. Another weekend of no football!!

Dont really matter if your not accepting that! They play on a pitch that is owned by the MOD and they have the final say! Why should they give themselves a dis-advantage by playing on a neutral ground in the Junior cup semi-final (esp. against a side as good as St. Austell)

thanks mate, appreciate that. dont mind playing anywhere at all.

Game back on at St Austell. Don't mind giving up home advantage. One of the better pitches in the league. See you tomorrow

Rain last night????? Worked the night and didn't have 1 drop!!!!!!!!!!! If games get called off today then there is no hope of finishing the season as the last few days not been half as bad as previous weeks.

No sign of rain in Redruth last night BUT, working on a golf course, I can tell you that I have never seen it so wet as it was yesterday. There has to be a degree of common sense in cancelling/confirming games. Protecting pitches is not a real reason to cancel the game but at the same point, I don't want to drive all the way to Mullion later, only to have the game called off following a referee's inspection because Mullion didn't want to call the game off!!!
