BTAFC
Bodmin Town welcome Northern League side Ashington to Priory Park tomorrow kick-off 3.00pm (Saturday 26th January 2013) for their delayed FA Vase 4th round tie, originally scheduled for last weekend. If the scores are level after 90 minutes there will be 30 minutes of extra time, if there is still no winner the replay will be at Ashington on Saturday 2nd February. Bodmin will be bidding to reach the fifth round for the first time, the same stage that Ashington reached last season. Ashington are currently in 8th place in the Northern League, a league which has supplied the last four winners of the FA Vase, Whitley Bay (3 times) and Dunstan UTS last season, so the visitors are expected to provide strong opposition for the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League's sole survivors in this season's FA Vase competition. Admission prices are the same as the previous round, £6 and £3. There will be hot and cold refreshements available from before kick-off throughout the game as well as full bar facilities. A special souvenir programme, with extra pages will be on sale as well as the usual 50/50 draw.

Dave S (MUFC)
Good luck indeed to Bodmin tomorrow - though what a journey Ashington will be making! Looking at their website yesterday, re the original date last week, some fans were on about leaving the north-east at 3.30 in the morning! Fair play to those that make it down to the Duchy - true fans indeed!

Rocket Ronnie
Bodmin 3-2 ashington ft, hobbs, colwill and carter. Dodgy penalty for ashington and tap in from free kick in injury time. Good game but i didnt think ashington were that good to be honest.
Lee_
Great result for Bodmin, I bet the Ashington people will be sick to the stomach if they didnt play as well as they could. I followed my old local team up to Spennymoor once and they lost 1-0 and just didnt turn up on the day, it was one of the biggest disappointments I experienced watching football. bushy12
Well done Bodmin!! Completely agree with Rocket Ronnie. Don't think Ashington were that great! Apart from the (dodgy) penalty, and tap in, I believe Miller had 1 save to make? Can Bodmin go all the way....?
Ian Pethick
Well done Bodmin ! Thought at the start of the season that given their dominance of the league and the strength of their squad (and a few home draws)they would be able to give the Vase a real go . Am I right in saying that it's only four matches from Wembley ?

Paul
Great win today. No easy games so to still be in the Vase is brilliant. What was the crowd because only 50 odd at Blazey. Alot went over to see Bodmin today. I fancy Bodmin to go all the way.
Dave S (MUFC)
Well done Bodmin Town! North-east sides have dominated the Vase in recent years, so that's one less for you to worry about this season! Up here around Bristol way, Bitton went out today, losing to another north-east side in Shildon, but Larkhall Athletic are through, victors over Peacehaven. Good luck to Bodmin in the next round!
