Red Dev
Was just wondering why there has been no coverage of any of the saturdays local football.have seen there are reports of sundays matches in todays. I did however just look at the online version so not sure if there were any in the paper version yesterday?
Argyle Fan
I believe the Herald / Morning News has pretty much abandoned all local football coverage. There's normally a brief round-up on a Monday.I found this on the Herald website:http://www.thisisdevon.co.uk/Budleigh-s-clash-Axminster-abandoned/story-17917954-detail/story.html
Robbo5
I believe that a lot of clubs now have to send emails to the local press offices to see whether they can get some reports in there of their games for the local communities. It is a shame if the Herald and Morning News do not do it as apart from the Sunday Independent there really is no competition. However, the Torquay Herald Express do well to cover the likes of Bovey Tracey and Liverton in their local areas. http://www.thisissouthdevon.co.uk/Win-Bridgers-gives-German-s-men-confidence-boost/story-18144416-detail/story.html#axzz2KubyUd1J
boney
It's a shame really. The North Devon Journal has some good coverage. http://www.thisisnorthdevon.co.uk/football#axzz2Kv53coED

Argyle Fan
I'm pretty sure there's a round-up in the (Plymouth) Herald on a Monday of the previous weekend's matches and on a Friday there's a preview of the games for the Saturday.Unfortunately, like so many things in life nowadays the Accountants are in charge, so it's not "what do people want to read" but rather "how much is this costing". Robbo5
The Herald needs to do a mid page round up of football from all League 2 and lower like the Independent does
