THE BALD ONE
Parkway 0 Liverton 3Shock result of the day!Poor game to be honest. Parkway looked very rusty and missed several good chances. Liverton played route one football - which paid off. No sour grapes , just a poor game to watch. The Windmill On The Shirt
Torpoint Athletic 4-3 Saltash United. (AET) Att: 145 Official The Tamarsiders went into the game underdogs, back came out victors after this 7 goal thriller at 'The Mill' Saltash opened the scoring on 16 minutes goal from Danny Zalick. Torpoint went 2-0 down on 28 minutes when Kanaki struck from 15 yards. Torpoint got a life line on the 43rd minutes when Paul Baker shot home. It was not until the 78th minute till Torpoint levelled with a goal through Tom Payne. We entered Extra Time and Liam Thornton scored in the 100th minute, for Point to take the lead, first time in this cup tie. Shane Jewell made it 3-3 in the 106th minute and everybody in the ground was expecting a penalty shoot out, but the in the 118th minute Brian Stacey hit home with the winner, the Torpoint KOP went mentle, it was like FA Vase games of a couple or years ago!!! ravo
Agree with the bald one, hard pitch to play the football Parkway were trying to play.Ryan Richards a very talented young player and i thought if those chances would of went in then a differnt result would of happend. Everybody can talk a goal in but it is not that easy as i hope you agree. And i thought the goals were soft Parkway give away but you got to say that the way Parkway are trying to play will keep them in with a top 3 finish. Dave Deacon
St Dennis came up trumps at Camelford this afternoon in the Senior Cup. The first Carl Rickard goal from distance, you could ask whether Josh Colwill should have stopped it from squeezing under his body, however Carl made the most of a chance early in the second half doubling the scoring. As expected, Camelford then pushed on, but St Dennis soaked up the pressure and Camelford never really had a serious chance to trouble the St Dennis goally Brett Allen, who had made a couple good saves in the first half to keep his side in the contest. S0673193.JPG Camelford 0 - 2 St. Dennis Disappointment for the Camels today after several missed chances and against a useful St. Dennis team who looked as though they wanted the win more. On what was a bitter cold afternoon, the Camels came out in the second half pressing for an equalizing goal but St. Dennis defended well and after scoring their second, it was always going to be a hard task. Wasn't your day today Camels, time to concentrate on your league position now! Good Luck to St. Dennis in the next round of the cup and their league for the rest of the season! THE BALD ONE
True , the win for Liverton was like a scene from a DJM match. What a moaning , whinging bench all game. And they were squealing like big girls when they scored.Liverton take the 3 points away and that is the way it is.No sour grapes , just not impressed with the standard of football on show yesterday. The real slim shaddy
I think the point he's trying 2 make is your a BAD loser!! The fact of the matter r parkway r over achieving but they were gonna get found out sooner rather than later. Just turn around & say we were rubbish & deserved 2 lose, now lets win our next game!! THE BALD ONE
Slim , We were rubbish , but Liverton were poor also. I am not a bad loser and we would not beat anyone playing like we did Saturday.I say it how it is.
quiksilver
Parkway must have been terrible if a 'poor' liverton team spanked parkway 3-0 at home
THE BALD ONE
YES they were. We did go down to 10 men when it was one nil though.
bushy12
This sounds all to similar to when St.Austell took 3 points away from Parkway earlier this season, although we were also branded as 'thugs' (although, again, Parkway finished the game with 10 men, and had more yellow cards). And then you come out and say you aren't a bad loser...? Maybe you're just not as good as you like to think you are!
THE BALD ONE
I say it how I see it Bushy. I have no problems if we lose , and when you play like we did Saturday you will lose.
Argyle Fan
I thought it was a scrappy game, not helped by the pitch.Parkway were the better side first half but unfortunately their number 9 had one of those games where he couldn't hit the proverbial cow's backside with a banjo.Liverton upped their game in the second half and ran out deserved winners.
