Perranwell v Illogan (trelawney prem) OFF

This wasn't due to the weather but an awful bit of news that one of the Perranwell players was involved in a tragic accident at work recently and understandably they wanted to postpone. Im sure i can speak for everyone at Illogan who sends our condolences to the friends and family effected, our thoughts are with you.

If I'm right, Penwith Exiles play on the Mount's Bay 3G? We train there every week and never seen a drop of surface water there to be honest.. and most of the modern 3G's have excellent drainage..

Was up there weds nite & top right Is full of mud that has run off the field above, didn't look very good, very slippery & should think it be worse again after last couple days rain

So were we.. top right as in the end away from the dome? We have the two thirds at the dome end to be fair so wouldn't have seen that

That'd ruin my Monday night tennis though.. can't have that!

Whilst I'm on a GAMES OFF thread, should actually mention that Madron vs St Ives Reserves is, unsurprisingly, off (4 games in 12 weeks.. we're going to need training in what a football is, let alone how to kick it)

Yeh i was at Mounts Bay this afternoon watching the boy, they had a West Cornwall Schools match there and it is sopping wet!! It lashed down for two hours, poor buggers!!! True the mud is all over the pitch right down the dug outs side. Would agree with the decision to call it off, great facilities there though!!

I think we have already established that in this instance, I was incorrect, but thanks for the reminder
