Did I hear right that penryn drafted in a 42 year old veteran keeper for the game?

correct! and he showed the so called best keeper in the combo a few thigns, Barry was at fault for x2 of the Penry goals, too cocky at times, and that back fired!!! lol, on another note i'm not sure on the illogan selection, no jason roberts starting, fenton at centre back had a nightmare, old boy out wide was lost also, it was a shame as initially i did think illogan could of done them!

Yet again Pointers you question an Illogan selection, if you know so much about our team then you would of known that Jason Roberts had an ear infection an has been on antibiotics an wasn't feeling great, Sam Fenton has been in great form for us all season so justified his selection. I think credit should go to penryn as they took the game by the scruff of the neck and went at us from the start forcing us into mistakes which they punished us for.

I was shit last night I admit that end if topic x
But would just like "pointers" to run through which goals were my fault and why

In all honesty I think you should of just cleared the first one over the hedge instead of trying to play it out when penryn were clearly pushing on all of your defence, the 2nd wasn't your fault, another mistake by the defence, but looking back I bet you wished you'd got out quicker to close the angle down, and the 3rd was a good turn and shot from a tight angle, going accross your body probably should of got something on it,always tough on a keeper as you are the last line of defence and then get people like myself blaming you,far from it as you also made a couple of very good saves, your kicking is the best around, and very good vocally,in a couple of years I do think you'll be ready to make a step up to the Swpl, you've got all the attributes to do so if you knuckle down a bit.

Everyone has a bad day at the office and mine was on Wednesday night,, just a few stats to justify why I am the best around lol

:- I've played 18 games this year and conceaded 14 goals, take out the freak result at mullion and I would have only conceaded 6.

:- Only 2 league games this year I have conceaded more than 1 goal in a game, obviously mullion away and the other was a 4-2 home win to penryn.

:- Wednesdays senior cup game was the only goals I conceaded

:- After the freak mullion game I had 4 consecutive clean sheets which were Falmouth town, porthleven, st.agnes, I didn't play the hayle game as was at a wedding and the last was wendron.

:- And last but not least I have had at least 6 man of the matchs this year

So all in all not bad at all END OF TOPIC

Stats don't prove anything son, if you was in goal for a team struggling at the bottom I don't think you'd have those stats now do you...? For years illogans defence has been a tough nut to crack....your only as good as your last game son...write that down.

Son?? Who u calling son??? Who are u anyway apart from some **** who hasn't got a clue about football???

Sorry fella just my northern twang coming into play with the 'son',no offence. I have a vast knowledge of football having played at a very good standard for 25 years, I certainly have the knowledge to give you my opinion, use it or abuse it but either way it's coming....as I said before you have got potential,I feel you need to listen a bit more rather than being rather blinkered which is what I see at the minute.

Barrie is a quality keeper, he knows how good he is as most of us do, everyone has an off game, at least Barrie's able to admit it and say it weren't his best, from what i have been told think people need to give Penryn, i was told that they played some great stuff on the night.

I'm a goal keeper and Barry is one of the best I've seen down here! Every keeper however good they are has an off day. I remember when illogan beat st blazey in the senior cup 3-1 at blazey Barry was sensational on that day makin some class saves. Nothing wrong with us keepers having a bit of character we don't get the glory o scoring goals like you outfield superstars :-)
