Neil Lane
Haven't had confirmation from Saltash United, but the weather in Plymouth seems to have been reasonably dry overnight, and with no rain forecast this morning, the game Saltash Vs Morwenstow looks promising!! New boy
What a result!!! Up the Bridgers!! So gutted i was working in Plymouth!!! Anyone shed some light on the game, im waiting for a txt from the Bridger boys who are probably out celebrating! Working in Plymouth this weekend... saw the Elburton vs Parkway game was off so popped over to see Saltash vs Morwenstow.... not a bad game.... Saltash look good going forward, but in fairness Morwenstow didnt look very good, no disrespect intended. Slightly gutted at not seeing Parkway play today as i believe us Bridgers have them next week at home.... I have also been told their striker has left anyone know? their number 9 i got told today at Saltash has gone back to the higher league? Well done Saltash - but more importantly - WELL DONE BRIDGERS!!

jayjay21
New boy think that's a little unfair on us morwenstow . We had some very good chances and played some good football saltash keeper made some very good saves and saltash finishing was a bit more clinical there 2nd had a lot of luck about it with a big deflection off the defender . Saltash a good team but don't think the score line reflects the game to be honest . But in fairness it's about taking your chances which saltash did . Bodmin are not a bad side , but they seem to be more interested in kicking people than actually playing football ! I'm all for hard but fair but today it went a bit far! As Far as i am concerned I didn't have alot to do but for some of the lads to be threatened to have their throats cut etc is a joke!!! velcro#1
Fair one swanny!!! My point is that I don't think that bodmin will end up where they are now come the end of the season! Babos .... 8 points then!! And you guys have got 2 games in hand but that's only 6 points so still pretty good !!! All very tongue in cheek boys! New boy
Jay - I didnt mean to offend, but i do not think it is harsh! I am only saying what i saw and you were not good! Maybe a bad day at the office, but its a game of football, ive seen teams lose by larger margins and still have a few shots in a game - so for you to say you had shots and make their keeper work - i should hope so, playing in a half decent league like the ECPL. Saltash were not fantastic but controlled the game for the majority on what looked a very heavy pitch. Well done Saltash
pickles123
St teath Bodmin game there was one bad tackle !!! And I shook the hand of almost every st teath player ? It's easy to go home and be a keyboard warrior !!!

green&whitebarmyarmy
Result of the day in the ecl1 has to be Plymstock v camelford? What happened there, Plymstock in great form. Easy, Plymstock a very good side, and Camelford's first team played St Dennis, so no help available! Camelford have used about 10 first team players all year, they beat st teath at home without first teamers in, shows they are capable of beating anyone. only reason they have had first teamers in is to get match fitness and help players coming back from injury. is that not what a second team is for? its unfortunate if you catch a team with players from a higher league in but i would say it is nice to have people signed on for for a club rather than a team. you have been very quick to suggest camelford would chuck first team players in but did plymstock 1st team play yesterday? At the start of last season I think you lost both Saturday games when your first team played, yet won both midweek ones when first teamers were available. They've also used players on a Saturday who have played in a Friday game, so that hardly qualifies as "match fitness". However, it's within the rules, and if Camelford feel the need to do it, good luck to them.

A good competitive game let down by a bit of petulance by blazey striker. thought we (blazey) played very well up till half time then went a downhill very quickly conceding 2 goals after the re start,we had a pen saved n a shot from 4 yds out that mitch done well 2 keep hold of so it was obvious that our luck wasnt there lol didnt c wot happened wiv shane but its a 1 off as iv never seen him react like that b4 even wen hes had lumps kicked out of him by the opposition! good luck 2 jack, billy n the boys 4 the season,we'll try n beat bodmin n st teath so u win the league lol

OneBlueVoice
Has to be said here that Camelford are most likely to be inc players from their 3rd team duchy 3, so it swings both ways, the majority of that squad came from last years duchy side.It has been through their hard work that they had such a good start to the season.
