No Pep so who is next on Romans list?

There's a danger of that. My theory is that Roman just uses Chelsea to keep himself too much in the public eye to reduce the risk of getting assassinated by some wandering minstrel with a pointy unbrella. Chelsea is his personal "krischa".

When they are doing too well on the pitch, attention turns to popular and able people like Mourinho, Ancelotti, Wilkins, Lampard or Di Matteo instead, so he has to do something controversial like getting rid of them to restore his own media spotlight.

I have the excuse of seeing the world through royal blue contact lenses since 1966, thus the seeming incompatibility of the oligarch's plaything with my support for the revolutionary politics ruined by the oligarcch and his ilk. And there is of course a proverbial disregarded elephant in the protests of our supporters, in that no-one ever calls Abramovic Out ! Such is the power of filthy money: "Radix malorum est cupidatis".

Perhaps Venky's will put in a bid for Torres. After all, some people prefer their chickens with ther heads cut off ! However, in the light of contemporary news, what if the chicken were to get adulterated by 30% horseflesh, occasioning dangerous bursts of speed on the way to pick up his pay cheque, if not in the box.?

Seriously, is there any club out there that might offer Chelsea, say 10 or 15 million for Torres ? For a loss of only 35 million, they might say yes !

Anybody need a doorstop ?

To answer your question, Hoop, I thing Roman could do worse than approach the present Penzance manager. All that experience of losing at home; knowing how it feels, like our Spanish waiter, to be the best bet for a job because everybody expects you to **** up anyway.......a free pasty and an offer of a couple of the Chelsea Ladies off the bench to toughen up the Penlee Park tackling should do it......

Ho-Say Moo, Reen, Yo, Ho-Say Mou, reen, yo !

I wish.

Emulation is a fine thing. He even dresses like me. :yahoo:

Unfortunately the one skulking round the back of the stand scowling is Avram blooming Grant.

I think Steve Clarke's reception at the Bridge tomorrow in contrast with the Spanish Waiter will be something for all my fellow Chelsealovers out there to hear......
