Pitty
It's a top versus bottom clash tomorrow at blaythorne as league leaders Illogan travel to their nearest neighbours Holmans. (1430 kick off) The two sides only met two and a half weeks ago (Boxing Day) which saw a muddy encounter go the way of the league leaders but not until the 75th min from a Dan Bowman goal after a pretty resilient performance from the visitors. Can Holmans produce again or will it go with the form book would be good to see some local supporters in the Camborne area to make the trip to see how it pans out! On a personal note barring any acts of god/water into wine/ lightning striking twice in the league cup to enable the sides to meet in the semi/final-this will be my last ever holmans v Illogan fixture due to grey hair, limited ability, old age and impending retirement. On that note I would like to say how much I've enjoyed the friendly rivalry over the years and will miss it but looking forward to bowing out tomorrow having enjoyed another fully committed enjoyable game from both teams Cheers Pitty
a little bit of a dinho
It's been a pleasure playing alongside you mate, hope you enjoy your last ever derby - I'll try my best not to get emotional but I can't make any promises.
