white
I am looking for some help as we are trying to add a new player to our duchy league squad but he is playing for a senior side at the moment. How do i go about signing the player - he has played quite a few games for them so how do you re instate the player and also sign the player. Do you need to put in a 7 days approach. Any help would be much appreciated as our secretary has no clue either and is busy with work at the moment to sort it out. Thanks

Hope that helps.

newlyneastno.10
To re-instate the player you need to send a cheque of £6 to Terry Williams, 35 Queen Anne Gardens, Falmouth. Send it with a handwritten letter saying who you play for in senior and junior football and that you wish to be re instated as a Junior player. . But then I haven't been involved in any transfers for a good number of years so I may be wrong.
marrabean
I signed a player in the summer for a combo side who wasnt registered for any other combo sides but was to a peninsula side, i later after being given a 10 pound fine found out that we had to put 7 days in for the player! I think this is to protect the bigger club which seems to be a common theme in football!
newlyneastno.10
i believe you can sign both junior and senior forms for two different clubs without putting in 7 days..!! In fact i know you can do this as i have myself both signed senior and junior forms for two different sides this season! You only have to put in 7 days if they have signed jnr forms for another team already this season
Footie Nut
So, hypothetically, Marazion could sign Adam Carter from Bodmin and play him every week without giving any notice. I imagine the senior club would be delighted. The senior club may waive the 7 days but surely an official approach should be made.
Biggreengiant
Footie nut that is exactly right no approuch is needed or anything needed to be said all marazion would have to do is pay the re-instatment and obviously u can only do that twice a season
Footie Nut
What about the other way - if a senior club wanted to sign a player from a junior club. Is a 7 day approach required?
Biggreengiant
No it isent needed at all cause as far as rules go a player can sign for combo duchy trelawney swpl premier east cornwall leagues all for diffrent teams and play for who ever u want as long as there diffrent leagues u can sign for as many clubs as u want so yes in therory u can sign for 6 leagues and 6 diffrent leagues
Biggreengiant
Only way a 7 day approuch is needed is if the player in question is transfering to want to play for a team already in a league he is signed for a diffrent team
Biggreengiant
I my self the other season played hayle 3rd team and also ludgvan combo when midweeks game kicked in and had no games on saturday for hayle
stokefan1
so you could basically re instate as many senior players you like aslong pay for all of them to be re-instated,?? for example if we re-instated 3 they could play 4 us midweek and then weekend for there senior side? correct? stokefan1
so if we re-instated for example two senior players they could play in any junior game and still play for there senior club? cheers ben
Biggreengiant
Yes ben the yetie is right u can only reinstate 2 players at a time untill the two in question have played 5 games at junior level and not exceeded no more then 5 at seniour level again but you can reinstate all the players u want as long as only 2 players play at one time so u could reinstate 4 players have 2 of them play one week then the other two could play the following week as long as only two reistated players play in ure sqaud in a game
