Best described as a gutsy performance by Falmouth in their goalless draw at Bickland with Saltash.

Town's 'keeper Jason Chapman definitely man of the match in which he made at least 8 great saves, including what must have been 3 or 4 1v1s! By far best goalkeeping performance I've witnessed this season.

Godolphin were fortunate to run out winners in an 8 goal thriller this afternoon, Mousehole ran them close but came off second best by a mere 8 goals. The Seagulls were supported by 20 or so Newquay based fans (Darren Woodwards Peppermint Army) in a crowd of less than 60. Godolphin were a different class but didn't look as though they got out of 3rd gear, the 16yr old Mousehole 'Keeper made some superb saves. The biggest cheer of the afternoon came when Mousehole were awarded a penalty, unfortunately the pressure of taking a spot kick in front of a crowd must have got to the taker, he pulled his kick wide of the post.

Luke Rigby on the bench ? he left Mount Wise for more regular football, strange decision as Riggers is one of the best midfielders in the County - quick, get 7 days in for him !!!

Thank you for the support today nemesis, fair assessment of the game, goldolphin are on a different level to my boys but we never gave in and I can,t have any complaints, shame the penalty didn,t go in which would of given you something to cheer about, goldolphin are the best all round team in our division and remind me of the camelford side of a couple of years ago,if they go up they will I think do very well in the premier league, all the best to Newquay for the remainder of the season

Watched Plymouth Parkway today just got to say well done to them for coming away with 3 points, what a hard place to go and and get a result, wasnt the best game but if parkway can win those sort of games they got a chance. Good to see Darren Stewart involved with the club aswell. Big 3 points nxt game would make it interesting.

Good performance from Penryn today, they gave young Aj Lilley his debut in goal as Rob Rosevear has gone to Dubai to work. They dominated the first 15 min and after given a free kick on the half way line Aj clipped the ball into the box and a clever backward header from Kane Trevaskis found the net.Penryn should have hit the net at least twice more but Dobwalls kept battling and got there reward when a under hit back pass was ceased upon to find the net by their dangerous no 10.Second half started in similar fashion then Ryan Chinn made an important tackle laid it off to Dave Broglino who hit a lovely pass to Kane to finish clinically.Penryn introduced Sean Johnson and Jason Roberts and these guys caused problems with their pace,Dave Blizzard had to go off so Penryn had to introduce the ever green Steve Jewell who turned back the clock with a lovely timed pass to Roberts who scored a good goal from a tight angle.Dobwalls kept coming forward and were un lucky not to score themselves.

Truro City Reserves 1 - 3 Wadebridge Town

The response we were looking for after our defeat to the Gs on Boxing Day.

First half saw bridge take the lead through a corner headed in at the back post.

City could have then drawn level, good work saw Scott Palmer through 1 on 1, with Tom Varcoe making a great save to deny.

Start of 2nd half bridge stepped it up a gear with 2 further goals. A city corner was headed in at the back post for 3-1 with 15 to play, nervy 15 for bridge who had lost captain Martin Cook from central defence with a neck injury. The reshuffled back 4 held on to claim the three points.

Penryn away next being another tough game.
