Goldeneye
Spotted this online:- A hotel in west London has changed the name of its top floor suite to Rafa Benitez to 'honour' the new Chelsea coach - saying the room is perfect for short stays. :yahoo: :yahoo:
cornish-blue
Juan Mata tweets: @juanmata10: Already in the hotel, looking forward to play in tomorrow's massive game! Good feelings after 3 training sessions with Rafa Benítez! #CFC
Crouch Potato
Benitez wouldn't being doing this unless he believed that he could win the Premier League and get an extended contract. He's the one person who really does believe in Rafa Benitez and on reflection it may prove a fruitful decision for Chelsea.
Dudley
Chelsea better hope this works, because they are a embarrassing team in our league right now, roman will never be happy

Crouch Potato
Can't believe it, I watched three live games this weekend and they all ended up 0-0. It was very strange indeed seeing Rafa Benitez in charge of Chelsea today, it didn't look natural at all. Sir Alex must be rubbing his hands with glee seeing his main rivals both dropping points and not looking convincing either.

Crouch Potato
2 horse race for the title then I suppose it always was from the first week of the season in reality. Must be good if you live in Manchester but pretty boring for the rest of the nation considering that compared to the best in Europe,City and United are pretty average. I'm a City fan but i couldn't agree more very average. If their was a European league of 20 teams they would both be in the bottom half i reckon. baldy
If RDM did so badly in his last 8 games then Benitez won't be celebrating a happy new year at CFC. The man is a total joke.

Nemesis
Seems the players want him out too, draw and lose in the hope that Roman will do something sooner rather than later. Saying that, Torres is grateful that he can now get some decent service in the club canteen.

MOUNTAINEER
Chelsea are missing John Terry, they have no one to organise the defence, slowing up he may be but a vital cog that's hard to replace. I don't think Harry Redknapp would be the man, he may win a knock out cup tournament but fails at the highest level, not so long ago when way out in front for a Champions league place he lost the plot and his job, to think England could have been lumbered with him. Arsene Wenger from Arsenal to Chelsea at the end of the season could be a transfer no one expected. :yahoo:

isaac rosenberg
The greatest will always be Jose Mourinho. I would love him to return to the Bridge. Failing him, I'd prefer O'Neill or Adkins or Zola. Not much chance, I realise. Steve Clarke has done a good job since leaving Chelsea and may one day be ready to return.
