Vospers O.V 2 Goonhavern 1

After setting off at 12.15pm we arrived at Vosper's Weston Mill ground at 14.50pm and were greeted with the news that KO would be 3pm. As expected we started very slowly and Vospers took a 20th minute lead with a goal that we thought was offside, forward walking away from goal, ball bounces by him and he turns and lobs the keeper. Our heads didn't drop and Andy Miles long range free kick was pushed around the post. on 35 minutes Miles's short corner was crossed in by Luke Brown and Sam Moustrides guided it home.

The 2nd half was pretty even until a 15 minute spell midway through the half when the home side hit the post and had a free header in the box to make it 2-1. We pushed forward in the last 15 minutes and Dean Blatch could't connect properly with his head 5 yards out. Overall i think Vospers just shaded it and we were made most welcome, good Refereeing with no late tackles or cards, a good honest game.
