Paul
Sherbourne 1v4 St Blazey What an amazing day. This is what non league football is all about. A full coach and very nice coach at that took players, management, committee and supporters on the trip to Dorset where 3 years ago we had a nightmare. How different today was. The club together as one, banter and laughs all day. And the performance matched the feel good atmosphere. An early goal from Simms was cancelled out before a wonder strike from Coombes made it 1v2. Swain was then brought down when clean through after some good play resulting in a straight red for the Sherbourne defender. St Blazey made it 3 and 4 with Coombes completing a hat-trick with two free headers both from corners. Half time 1v4. The second was all completing the job and that they did. Painter in the Blazey goal made some great saves and the Sherbourne keeper made some decent saves to stop St Blazey on the break. Job done. Adam Bance suffered a nasty knock late on resulting in a trip to hospital. So the coach made the way to hospital on the way home to pick him up. Everyone looking forward to the draw on monday. Fingers crossed we dont draw Bodmin. A nice trip to London or Sussex would be great. Well done to the lads. Fully desearved. COYG!!!!

Good game though for us, let's hope the draw for the next round is kind to us (no Bodmin please, let's have a nice away trip somewhere)

Both are home ties. Downton near Salisbury are 2nd in the Wessex League I went to Downton with Falmouth a few years back they were a very average side but must have improved now after their 5-2 win at Buckland in the last Round

Saint Francis
I don't know what treble Sherborne won last season ? But I do know they were relegated from the Western league Premier division into Division I at the end of last season and looking at the league table they are at present in 10th position. DanBlazey
Situated between Bristol and Bath (the groundhopper in me would quick like a replay as not done this one!) Going well in the Western Premier. Currently in 5th, but oddly they have a negative goal difference, so every chance for the Blazey Bears.

Paul
Bit of banter between the players. Nothing more, nothing less. Good stuff.
Dave S (MUFC)
Hi guys, Mangotsfield fan here. We know all about Bitton, they're close to us geographically, and a number of our fringe players have ended up playing for them in the past, season after season, so there is always a strong Mangotsfield connection there. Heck, half the Bitton crowd are usually Mango fans anyway, if our lot are away somewhere! I've seen Bitton twice this season, both early doors - 3-1 v Bristol Manor Farm & then incredibly 0-6 at home to Wells City, which was a really bizarre game as Bitton were 4th & Wells were bottom at the time! It was truly a bad day at the office for Bitton, but they bounced back 2 days later by winning 1-0 at Melksham. They've probably been the best Toolstation side over the past 5 or 6 years or so, but they've not been quite so potent this season, hence one or two big defeats, but they're always in the top 4 or 5. In a way, they probably need a new challenge (ie Southern League) because of the past 5 years ( a bit like Bideford had to eventually, after winning the Toolstation so many times), but I guess they're a bit reluctant to make the jump because they see local sides like us & Yate struggle, if truth be told, and then there's all the travelling which bumps up the cost. Don't expect too many Bitton fans to make the trip down to Blazey - besides, the Mangos are at home on that day - but you should find them a sterner test than Bodmin did v Odd Down because they have had one or two decent Vase runs before & they'll know what's expected. Blazey will need to make home advantage count, and it should be a cracking game! I wouldn't bet against a replay either.
