L.Ricks9
Perrenporth 3-1 St Dennis Saints goal: Scott hill Excellent defensive performance from perren today, we dominated the opening 25 mins, conceded 3 goals in the a sloppy last 20 mins of the 1 half. 2nd half was 1 way traffic with us pegging perren in there half for 45mins, just wasn't our day today. Perren defended well and saw it through. Good luck to perren for rest of the season.

Can't keep up?!
Dobwalls 0 - 10 Wadebridge Town Scoreline is not a mistake. We were outstanding today, bouncing back from our defeat last week. Passing and movement the best I have seen from us this season and today we showed out clinical edge. Great to see Paul Clark make his return to the first team with a solid performance in goal for the last 20 minutes maintaining the injured Tom Varcoe's clean sheet. Scorers to follow

Lee hazeldine
Cheers mate it was a 90th min winner from young 18 year old substitute! Went 1-0 up in first half then they equalised after chairman chris Allen gave away a penalty ! Both sides then had chance after chance to win it but luckily it was us that grabbed the 3 points! Major
FT: Newquay AFC (Mark Vercesi 13, Ashley Piggott 23) 2-2 Falmouth Town (Elliott Simcox OG 68, Glen Squires 74) Attendance: 136 If you watched the first half then you would say we were dead and buried! I don't know what our manager's said to the lads in the dressing room at half time, but it sure worked!! The second half belonged to Falmouth Town AFC and every one of our players put in a really good shift. A great comeback saw us draw level and with a little more rub of the green we would have won with virtually the last kick of the game!! The frustration of the home crowd tells me that they didn't drop two points-we took them away!! Well done to Les. Rob and our hard working boys!! P.S It was good to see our injured first teamers Matt Drummond, Ross Pope, Rob Wearne and Dan McGhee there supporting their team mates. It shows the team spirit we have in our squad as we continue our rebuilding programme-can't wait until the next game to be honest!! midlandlilywhite
Bad luck Lillywhites especially after a 2-0 half time lead. Hope Bodmin & St Blazey can keep the Cornish flag flying in Round 3. These two victories and Town's narrow defeat continue to convince me that the top clubs in the CSWPL can compete comfortably with Level 5 clubs especially in the Western & Wessex Leagues. I did a 300 mile round trip from my home in Warwickshire to Fleetwood, in order to complete the 92 again and watch Argyle. Well Argyle were awful and deserved to lose, many players unable to pass a ball and tackle. Fleetwood's ground has been developed considerably with money from their owner who has made his fortune in the power industry, he owns commercial power uk. A steward told me that was paying some of his players an incredible 6k a week ! I wonder what will happen when the bubble bursts there ! The attendance at Poltair today was 142. I didnt see any real threat from Falmouth in the first half but at the end they should have nicked it with the rebound off the post falling just that bit too quickly for the forward and it flew over. Thought the ref did well today with only one booking (which was deserved).
Dave S (MUFC)
Just to say well done to Penzance AND Foxhole Stars for both ending their barren runs today - onwards and upwards!! :c: And even my own side, Mangotsfield United, didn't let me down - we won 4-3 at Winchester!
