Same score you beat us by a couple of years back in that epic Sunday Cup 1/4 final. Fingers crossed for a rematch up at yours in the next round . Bumdingo
I play for Packhorse Vets & when they're desperate Carlyon Arms. We had a vets game next to the Packhorse v Praze game and spoke to the Packhorse manager before the game and he said if they got past Praze they wanted another trip down to you guys at Penzance Astro. Praze held the advantage in the pens but Packhorse held their nerve when they had to convert. Packhorse keeper scored his, Praze keeper had his kick saved. Red Mist Richie
ref called it off due to a mass brawl between the two teams
Soccer Follower
I would suggest that the game was abandoned then rather than postponed. I expect that both clubs will be hearing from the CCFA later in the week following receipt of the referee's report(s).
Bumdingo
Paul Buscomb's report will go into the CCFA and they will deal with it accordingly. We have our monthly CSFL meeting tonight, I'm guessing we'll be discussing it then. And yes it was abandoned not postponed.

Thanks to Trevenson for running both lines and helping out Carlyon Arms who arrived with a bare eleven players. Carlyon have the smallest squad of the 9 teams in our league and were missing several regulars due to work, injury and family commitments. There were arguably 4-5 players missing that would normally have started and have contributed 15 of the 39 goals scored in the 5 games up to the Trevenson match. Luxulyan also have 23. Looking through the files the teams with the smaller squads are doing better.

Mark Picken
Other results from the CCFA Website Lostwithiel 3 MPad Utd 2 Saltash OB w/o The Galleon 1-1 at HT. Lostwithiel shaded it and the result was probably a fair one on reflection. The game was fast paced and both teams were competitive. However, we feel Losthwithiel should have been down to 10 men after their keeper lost the ball and then in an attempt to get it back grabbed our winger around the neck and then rugby tackled him as he was about to tap into an open goal. We did score from the spot, but how he only got a yellow and not a red, neither team seemed to know!
