Fantastic result for Newquay, always a fascinating battle against The Tinners. Great to see Andy Morris on the scoresheet too, must be dragging up the average age quite considerably! Funnily enough, I vividly remember Andrew Curnow chasing after me in the 100th game between the two sides, literally attempting to break me in half despite the whistle going for offside!

Anybody remember the penalty given against Sheffield United for an attempted foul?

Holman goalscorers

Jason blight & Wayne rouffiniac

Att 10

Half time 1-1 then the 2nd half self destruct button was activated again!!! Can't really be arsed to write any more about it due to my current threaders status

Hayle next week going to try and hide all self destruct buttons at blaythorne .....not "doomed" just yet CTB contrary to your opinion :)

Troon 6 -1 Port

not too much to say about the game really, port have got some good young lads and will pick up points i'm sure, some cracking goals from the Troon lads also i must add.

really want to just say a big thumbs up to Troons groundsmen, Jody and 'Rusty'! pitch was looking awesome, one of the best pitches in the league, and its getting better and better each week, thanks for the time and effort your putting in, its not going unnoticed!!

Jamie

Troon's pitch will see the rainwater soak away quickly for the next few years because of all those mole tunnels under it. I've still got the photos me and the daughter took before you were re-admitted into the league. The molehills were 18ins tall! Real cheap drainage system up at Grouter park

Paul, as you stated this was years ago, always tough getting volunteers at thsi standard of football, or even managers/players in your case (ouch), moles have all gone through a bit of tough love from the locals!! i could mention the lack of food at Penz football club when we visited for the Sup Cup Semi.....but i wont...oops..! lol,
