Rupert 1878
St Blazey must be short of a few players and because they haven't got a roof they blame the floodlights :D
Argyle Fan
St Blazey must be short of a few players and because they haven't got a roof they blame the floodlights With the lack of rain they wouldn't have got away with "waterlogged pitch". Paul
If they hadnt checked and left it til just before kick off and both teams would be there and supporters on the way, and then called it off there would be an out cry. You just cant please some people.

You just cant please some people. No ones saying DONT test the lights. The game was called off some 8 hours before the KO. So the question is what time where the lights tested, but, it must have been very early and the electrician must have spent more than a few minutes trying to trace the fault, before they would have made the decision that no matter what they did it was unfixable. chairman
I can assure If they hadnt checked and left it til just before kick off and both teams would be there and supporters on the way, and then called it off there would be an out cry. You just cant please some people. No ones saying DONT test the lights. The game was called off some 8 hours before the KO. I can assure you that all reasonable efforts were made to overcome the problem yesterday without success. The game was called off on the advice of the League Secretary to save unecessary travel.
