Ian Pethick
Parkway 3 Liskeard Athletic 4 ( HT 1-1 ) ( Parkway scorers Ryan Richards 2 , Will Stringer pen) Parkway on the end of a cup upset tonight despite including two Truro City loanees in Marcus Martin and Stewart Yetton ( for the five minutes or so before he was forced off injured anyway) A pretty flat and listless performance from the home team with too many players looking off their game and one or two were ( if I'm being honest)downright poor . Not taking anything away from a young Liskeard side that looked well organised, committed and energetic but that is the second time in four days that we have made a struggling side look better than they probably are .They managed to get goals at crucial points of the game when we looked like we were going to get the upper hand . On Tuesday night we got away with it because of the quality of our attacking play , but that couldn't come to our rescue tonight . Worryingly as well our defence suddenly looks vulnerable , teams seem to be able to get at our back four and unforced errors are creeping in . Well played Liskeard and good luck in the next round, but Wayne and Darren will be looking for a big reaction from the players in a tough looking away trip to Camelford on Tuesday . Mumble jumble
To be fair lads who ever played to night for parkway wouldn't of made any difference, you can't defend like that and expect to win any game, poor John h at the back couldn't do a thing right, never seen him play so bad, understand he has just become a dad, maybe to many night feeds. Dave Deacon
Certainly from where I was standing it looked as if Harry's effort might have got a touch from someone else on the way in, but by the way everyone ran to Harry to celebrate the equaliser, I assumed he was going to be credited with the goal. Big question then - who's getting it on the scoresheet? :)
John Mead
Harry Corin will be credited with the equaliser on the official teamsheet 'cos I've already filled it in!

Dave Deacon
Penzance 4 (Blake, Corrin, McWilliams, Dent), Falmouth Town 3 (Vercesi 2, Devine) (aet) What a turnaround as the Magpies trailed by two goals at half-time! With Falmouth’s skipper Mark Vercesi heading home two Wayne Quinn corners, Town went in at the break looking comfortable to be in tomorrow’s third round Throgmorton Cup draw. Minus Quinn after the break, Penzance threw themselves a vital lifeline when Blake poked home their first goal barely minutes into the second-half. The game began to flow from end to end as the clock ran down – Chapman made a great finger-tip save from substitute McWilliams, while at the end other end Falmouth felt they should have had a penalty. Then with time almost out for the up to now luckless Penzance this season, they pulled back level when a break on the left saw Harry Corrin shoot across Falmouth’s Chapman into the far corner of the net. Into extra-time and Penzance took the initiative with McWilliams putting them in front for the first time in the match, slotting home from ten yards out after their first attempt was thwarted and when Liam Dent made it four just before the extra time half-time, they looked home and dry. Well almost! They had an anxious last 13 minutes after Devine flicked home early in the extra time second half to pull the margin back to a single goal, but they defended well enough to prevent the game going to penalties and were no doubt relieved to hear the referee’s final whistle. The boss
How can you say that the bald one?. You have done well up to last night, and obviously don't play we'll last night. Because you have had one bad game and lost, doesn't mean you need a new keeper :S. every team lose at times.

Because you have had one bad game and lost, doesn't mean you need a new keeper :S. every team lose at times. You needed to be there - 2 of the Liskeard goals were down to "schoolboy defending" where the keeper & defenders got themselves in a right pickle on the edge of the box leaving the Liskeard player to roll the ball into an empty net. Beaker
Travelled over the bridge to watch Liskeard last night and was pleased with their performance. How on earth Plymouth are unbeaten in the league , I do not know. Perhaps this is because they have not played many games ? Good crowd though, maybe 180 ish. Slicedbread
piper didn't have a good 1st season at parkway not like the 1 he had with usJust my opinion but just maybe managers should be a bit more loyal to their players after all they expect it from the players.parkway a great team but players have never moved so fast through the team in past 2 seasons and never seen players moan as much as they do these days.you had a great team back then why so many unnecessary changes? The keeper for one kept parkway in many games back then
ere we go
Wow. John H not performing. Goalkeeper no good. Dont panic l am sure Mr Hillson will sort it out. Only 2 weeks ago a great away win down at Newquay and some of THIER fans saying that Parkway were the best team they have seen down there for a while. Every team/player has has a blip during the season.Keep The Faith
davegrose
I have not been impressed with this goalkeeper since he first played for us.Piper has a long term injury and a younger keeper is required. The back 4 have not connected with him at all.I do not want to take anything away from Liskeards performance as I think their young guns did them proud and deserved the win. This keeper is not always available due to work comitments , so time for a change. My commemt is not just about last nights game. if gary penhaligons in goal then uve got trouble bald one,all hes worried about is wot catsuit hes wearing next at butlins!!!!!
