Could have and should have been more with a missed pen and a number of other one on one opportunities spurned.. To their credit foxhole tried to play football rather than kick and rush but Tom Varcoe rarely tested. I've checked it just in case I've been enjoying too many beers and definitely says 0-10! However I appreciate it was actually 0-1. Shame Saltash couldn't have got one over a Western League side. As Can't keep up?! said in a earlier post, Foxhole tried to play football, and they never gave up, but Wadebridge were just to good on the day. Or about 7 players Clearly this foxhole team is struggling but take nothing away from our performance we worked hard and never let off knowing that goal difference may be crucial at the end of the season. Helston won there 13-0, Godolphin 7-0. Would have been easy to step off the gas at half time winning 5-0. Full credit to the team. Played in a 12-0 defeat myself in the senior cup playing for Roche vs Truro city 1sts. haylemed Posted October 17, 2012 Report Share Posted October 17, 2012 its very easy for people to snipe at teams like foxole hayle have been there when all there players left for penzance. and now penzance are in the same boat.its very difficult for managers who have to rebuild a team from nothing.but like penzance they turn up every week and play and fulfil there fixtures.instead of taking the easy way out and dropping out of the league.keep going foxhole there must be better times ahead.best of luck from all at hayle.
