Guest Postie Pidge
Falmouth have captured "the best centre half anywhere" in Neil Bettis who has signed from Bideford.

hammers
PIDGE, will Towns new signing Neil Bettis be playing on Sat or is he cup tied, which I would have thought that he would not be cup tied, as we have not yet played the first game, Hammers :c:
Mike Odgers
Neil Bettis, looking at their player profile he was ever present for Bideford last season, age 23 central defender who can also play up front and is a Devon County cricketer(left hand bat) North Devon CC being his club. To play alongside Aaron Harper-Penman and Rob Francis(Brinton Nute added) I presume to form a formidable back line. Born Barnstaple 4th.March 84-joined Torrington from Appledore in Oct 2004 making 31 apps. then moved on to Bideford for two seasons 2005/06,2006/07 He is definately NOT cup tied but "Pidge" check the FA Cup qualifying deadline is it 7days or 24 hours? Guest town man
Dead on Bloomy. He is definitely NOT the one to drop. Is he quick as we are definitely lacking pace at the back?
Mike Odgers
Quite right Bloomy(slip of the keyboard),with Brinton Nute ,Falmouth will have one of the strongest back four defence in South West football
hammers
Mike , thanks for that little bit of info, regarding towns latest signing, with Town loosing as they did last week I expected lots of comments some worth listening,to others to gloomy to be bothered with, I am confident that Town will turn out ok, let us not forget the leadership behind Town they are not the sort to give in at the first hurdle, Up the Town. Guest Postie Pidge
Neil will not be playing on Saturday because of cricket but should hopefully be available when the summer sport goes into hibernation
Guest
What a cracking signing. Is Massey spending some of his millions?
