dirty thirty tadge Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Barny ran the show for Wendron. Looked lovely from the bench
ITFC Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Troon 4-2 Mullion. Mullion goalscorer was Chris Ensink (2)
mini-mitch Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Perranwell played well today away to Pendean and will feel aggrieved they have come away with no points to show for their dominant display. Jimmy Thompson put the Well 1-0 up after 20 minutes after closing down the keeper well. They had as many as 5 clear cut chances to increase their lead before the break but failed to take advantage. After the break Pendean looked brighter but again it was Perranwell piling on all the pressure to no avail. Pendean equalised controvertialy on the 80th minute after the young midfielder got down the right before firing against the post, the ball rebounded out to a player on the edge of the box who hit it towards goal, a Pendean player on the 6 yard line then stepped over the ball directly in front of the keeper on its way into the net (making him active?!). Pendean then had the momentum and with 5 minutes remaining again Pendean played the ball down the line before cutting back to the edge of the 6 yard box where an unmarked player had an easy tap in. Final score Pendean 2-1 Perranwell Att 50
Foot Loose 1 Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Porthleven 1 Goonhavern 6 Scorers - Paul Robertson 2, Ben Lawrence 2, Craig Barclay 1 & Martin Bennetts 1
Silverdogfox Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Hayle scorer AJ Lilley Hayle 1- 0 up at the break Hayle included 7 players 18 and under - the boys did well
cornishteddyboy Posted September 8, 2012 Author Report Posted September 8, 2012 Scorers and rough headcounts anyone?
mini-mitch Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Papa Boupa Banter... We're you at the right game mate? There was no own goal in this game pal! Also 70 minutes of that game was played in the Pendeen half with chances coming thick and fast. Any striker on his day playing up top for Perranwell today would of had a hat full. The Perranwell keeper made two saves all game how can you refute Pendeen were the poorer team?..
Papa Boupa Banter Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Yes I deleted that as I realised after the keeper missed it, a Perranwell player did finish it off. But I do stand by my word that Perranwell were not the dominant side, second half it was all pendeen, Pendeen keeper didn't have a save to make either.
Gossip man Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Mini match, how many saves did the pendeen keeper make, zero I counted . Perranwell had 1st half, pendeen 2nd half. A draw may b fair,
striker8 Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 CTB, I think the Pendeen scorers were Andrew House and Stuart Strong, Would need to be confirmed by someone else though.
striker8 Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Would also like to add that in the Pendeen game neither keeper really had to make a save. 1st half Perranwell, Second half Pendeen. A draw would have been a fair result.
mini-mitch Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 I really think you were at the wrong game. No time for people like you.
striker8 Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Mini-Mitch, Neither side were dominant. Both keepers had little to do.
mini-mitch Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Gossipman I never said that the pendeen keeper had saves to make, but thats not to say there wern't chances. The Perranwell boys just didn't have their shooting boots on today. In short I agree with Striker8, but feel Perranwell will be aggrieved that they could not see it out as the rarely looked threatened.
There's only 1 no9 Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 as a neutral , I would like to comment on the Pendeen game today. mini match u r just a bit over the top, Perranwell defo had the 1st half, 2nd half Pendeen stepped up as they have in previous games, and as sonn as they scored 1 , there was only 1 outcome, pendeen win. Pendeen have a very young squad poss 5-6 players u 19, and fight to the end of every game. A fantastic start of the season for Pendeen , no budget, just a squad of mostly youngsters enjoying and learning the game.
Randy Jackson Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Ludgvan scorer gerens James Evenly contested match .. Falmouth applied a lot of pressure in the second half without creating any real clear chances until the goal .. Both teams missed penalties, almost identical aswell. Falmouth by far the best team we've come up against this year and although it hurts to say it probably just deserved it in the end. Just a quick mention to our groundsman who had the pitch looking immaculate today, I'm sure Falmouth would agree ..
Scoffy Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 I would agree ludgvan should be immensely proud of their side and their facilities pitch was fantastic, Luke wort, Luke Murray and Dave rawlings for town, og for ludgvan. Wish them all the best :-)
fal lad Posted September 8, 2012 Report Posted September 8, 2012 Scorer for porthleven was Will Paul and attendance was 30

Final score Pendean 2-1 Perranwell Att 50 mini mitch i dont no what game your reporting on, but the game i watched was nothing like you reported. perranwell had the lions share of possesion in the first half without createing ANY clear cut chances, were you got five from god only nos. perranwells deserved opener came when a back pass to the keeper hit a divit and the pendeen keeper missed kicked and your forward followed up to score. in the second half neither side created a clear chance until 20mins from time when pendeen changed things around and duley equlised,. five mins later they got their second and had chances to add to this. were the controversee comes from only you no. pendeen battled to the end once again and deserved the result because they scored twice and perranwell only once, simples. best of luck to the well for the season.
Scoffy Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Ctb much as Laurie mc gowan wouldn't want to claim ludgvan's goal as an og, not sure gerrans can claim it either as it was just a low cross in to the box, same could be argued for worty's as well though his shot was on target before taking a massive deflection :-)
Magowan30 Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Definate OG at Ludgvan. sliced perfectly over the keeper into the top corner. Only just managed to prevent myself from celebrating!
RyRy Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Liam Trathen had 1 for Wendron, unsure of second goalscorer
slugger Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 ludgvans pitch was outstanding, best in the league by far!..wish i could say the ref was outstanding too but afraid not, he was shockingly bad for all that was involved in yesterdays game and im sure my oppinion is shared by others.
WendronOfficial Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Liam Trathen and Tom Langford for Wendron after somehow been 1 down at half time. Totally dominated throughout and should have been cruising it at the break. But another 3 pointson the board and played some good stuff. Great to have Barney and Jamie back with us. Good bunch of youngsters at Hayle, all the best.
A.Nother Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 7 games in and pendeen still undefeated, like theres only 1 no9 said pendeen are playing with no budget and getting results! which is causing jealousy amongst others. I say long may it continue........it's great for cornish football as it proves there are still some players out there that don't just turm up for the money.

I should know this, having lived in the fair town of St Ives for 24 years.. but I'm under the assumption that St Ives aren't being paid either, and are currently undefeated too? I may be horribly wrong, so apologies if I am. And, although they are technically the enemy to my little club.. pleased to see St Ives 1st team doing well

Frazer06 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Think Hayles pitch will have something to say about that matey -
SimonL Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Troon 4-2 Mullion. Mullion goalscorer was Chris Ensink (2) Indy has the goalscorers down as Keith Jacka and Jack Sherlock. I take it they are wrong?

that_boy_ennerz Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Keith Jacka definately didn't score as he wasn't there.. And seeing as I'm Chris Ensink and scored 2 then I think we've got it right, hope this clears it up xoxo
WendronOfficial Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Think Hayles pitch will have something to say about that matey - And Wendron's Have they removed the bog down the dug out touchline then? The 'bog' is a frequent visitor in the Winter months still but hopefully the pitch will hold up this season as I don't think we have many home games over that part of the season due to bizarre fixturing. No doubting the quality of the pitch though, the late great Jack Prwose won an extremely prestigious National FA award which escapes me this moment for the quality of the work he did and the conditioning of the pitch. The Underlane was even commended with Jack on Sky Sports News. No doubting Hayle's quality of pitch though, been the best in the West for a while now.
JR 08 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Posted September 10, 2012 Hayles pitch is by far the best in the combo
